Wilma Sharp of Dexter passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 at her home. She was 79 years old.
Wilma Watts was born April 21, 1933 in Inola, Oklahoma to Ukie Watts Sr. and Opal (Hinds) Watts. She married Tom Sharp in Espanola, NM on January 22, 1994. They spent many wonderful years together, Tom precedes her in death. She worked hard at home taking care of her children and away from home as a Dispatcher in the Sheriff’s Office. Wilma will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Wilma is preceded in death by parents, Ukie Watts Sr. and Opal Watts; husband, Tom Sharp; two sisters; and a brother.
Those left to cherish Wilma’s memory are sons, Rodney Wayne Cozart of Midway and George Franklin Cozart Jr of Los Lunas; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a brother, Ukie Watts Jr. and his wife, Janice of Dexter.
Paul Kennedy, Barry Wilkinson, Ukie Watts Jr., and Rodney Wayne Cozart will serve as Pallbearers.
A Funeral Service for Wilma will be held at 10am, Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel with Howard Williams officiating. Wilma will be laid to rest at Lake Arthur Cemetery following the service. Family and friends are welcomed to view Wilma on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 12pm – 8pm at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home.
