Lena Webb of Artesia passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in Artesia, she was 86.

A Memorial Service for Lena will be held at 2pm, Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Hope Church of Christ in Hope, New Mexico with Pastor Jim Barnett officiating.

She was born Lena Mincher on April 14, 1926 to Grover and Lula (McAllister) Mincher in Foss, Oklahoma. Lena had a hard work ethic; she spent many years working on the family farm. She married Ira Lee Webb “Butch” on May 19, 1945, he precedes her in death. Butch and Lena spent many wonderful years together. Raising children, Linda and Robert; Butch and Lena instilled in them to be hard working, god fearing citizens. Butch and Lena will be reunited with sons, Rex Leon Webb and Robert Webb in heaven once again.

Those left to cherish Lena’s memory are daughter, Linda Thomas; granddaughter, Stacie Turpen and her husband, Jeff; grandson, Joe Cain and his wife, Eva; granddaughter, Kyra McLaughlin and her husband, Jason; grandson, Steven Thomas and his wife, Jinny; great grandson, Kevin Turpen and his girlfriend, Jessica Rose; great grandson, Cody Turpen and his wife Ashley; great grandson, Dillion Mchaughlin; great granddaughters, Krissy Turpen, Mya Mchaughlin, Stephanie Cain, and Samantha Cain; great great grandchildren, Jaeda, Laurel, Hunter, Zuri, Wyat, and Alicia; and sister-in-law, Jackie Webb.
