Linda Jump of Roswell passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012 at her home in Roswell. She was 67.

The daughter of John and Esther (Henderson) Clemens, she was born Linda LaRue Clemens on September 22, 1944 in Joplin, Missouri. Linda married Larry Jump on May 4, 1960; they are just shy of celebrating 52 wonderful years together. Linda and Larry raised two children, Larry Jr. and Lori. Linda was a beloved and cherished wife of 50 years, an amazing Mom, and a loving and inspirational friend who will be dearly miss by all who knew her.

Linda is preceded in death by her mother and father, John and Ester Clemens, brothers, Mike Clemens, Danny Clemens, and Marcus Clemens, and sister, Denise Cox.

Those left to cherish Linda’s memory are husband, Larry Jump of Roswell; son, Larry G. Jump Jr. and his wife, Joan of Roswell; daughter, Lori Cox and her husband, Gerald of Roswell; granddaughters, Laci Cox and Serise Jump and her companion, Tommy Apodaca; great granddaughter, Jaylynn Apodoca (Little Bit); brother-in-law, Vernie Lee Jump and his wife, Rita of Iowa; sister-in-law, Vivian Drake and her husband, Allen of Roswell; uncle-in-law, Vernie Jacks and his wife, Dee; cousin-in-law, Bob Beason and his wife Linda of Roswell; nieces, Christina Jump, Shelly Gerleman, Michele Chapman, and Tabitha O’Conner.

A Memorial Service honoring Linda will be held at 11 am, Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel with Garth Hyde officiating. Ennichment will follow at the Memory Garden at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory.
