Ambrocio Ramirez

A rosary will be recited for Ambrocio Ramirez, 66, of Roswell at 7 pm Thursday, December 26, 2013 at St. John’s Catholic Church. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, December 27, 2013 at St. John’s Catholic Church with Deacon Ernesto Martinez officiating. Burial to follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery. He passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013. Ambrocio was born December 7, 1947 in Romita, Guanajuato, Mexico to Eusebio Ramirez and Aurelia Fernandez. He married his wife, Reynalda Ramirez of 49 years on March 28, 1964. He is survived by his wife, Reynalda of the family home; three sons, Pablo Ramirez and his wife, Yolanda of Roswell; Ambrocio Ramirez, Jr. and his wife, Angie of Roswell and George Ramirez and his wife, Priscilla of Roswell; his daughters, Guadalupe Ramirez and her husband, Juan Beltran of Guanajuato, Mexico; Esther Ramirez, Nicolasa Ramirez, Maria Ramirez, Sandra Campos and her husband, Mario all of Roswell; Yolanda Granado and her husband, Ramon of Dexter; his brother, Pilar Ramirez and his wife, Molly of Artesia; Blas Ramirez and his wife, Teresa of Roswell; David Ramirez and his wife, Sofia and Joaquin Ramirez both of Mexico; his sisters, Maria Zavala and her husband, Eduardo of Roswell; Sara Ramirez and her husband, Juan Rodriguez of Roswell; Victoria Ramirez both of Mexico and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ambrocio enjoyed his hobbies including gardening, going fishing, watching his favorite soccer teams, Cruz Azul and Las Chivas, as well as his favorite NFL team the Dallas Cowboys. He also enjoyed going to the Joy Center to play Bingo with his friends, listening to his old rancheras and of course spending time with his grandkids. Pallbearers will be Pablo Ramirez, Ambrocio Ramirez, Jr., George Ramirez, Mario Campos, Ramon Granado and Ronnie Lujan. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Special thanks to all the staff at Southeastern New Mexico Kidney Center, he would always say that they treated him real good. Also a thank you to Dr. Angelica Caglia for being so good to him and us, and to all who knew him, loved and cared for him.
