Crusita O. Sisneros passed from this world Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Roswell, NM. Crusita was born on February 6, 1952, in Corona, NM. She had six siblings, four proceed her in death: Rufino Jr., Mary Catherine, Cristina, Lucilla. Her two surviving siblings are Isabel Vigil, Diane Lueras and cousins. Crusita Romero and Ruben Sisneros were married by the Justice of Peace on September 5, 1970, and then a year later on September 14, 1971, they married through the Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Ruben Sisneros and their kids: Jennifer Sisneros and her daughter Tiffani Sisneros and Andrew, Jessie and Richard Soto and their children Destiny, Richard, Moses, and Karizma, Arturo and Shaun Sisneros and their children Jose, Amaya, Abigail and Ruben, Carlos Sisneros and his son Carlos, and Michael Sisneros and Stephanie Barraza and their children Eliseo, Michael, and Layla. Crusita is also survived by three great grandkids: Azariah, Leandro, and Ava Lynn Rodriguez, with one on the way. We would like to acknowledge these special people that were close to her: Patsy Silva, Ross Romero, Dina Heredia and her kids Lorenzo Barraza and Jonatan Barraza, Rose Sigler and all the Tadpole family. She was very close with numerous nieces and nephews. Crusita worked for fifteen years at Renee’s play cottage and then later transferred to Tadpoles and worked there for eighteen years. Crusita was known for many things which include reading books, shopping for her grandkids, eating with the family, and working at the daycare. Crusita was known by many names Mom, Grandma, friend and the lady with the fannypack. Those that knew her were truly blessed to have known her. She truly loved her Native American heritage. She was a very kind hearted and loved everyone she came in contact with. She’s gone from this world but will never be forgotten. The marks that she left on her kids and grandkids will last for centuries. A viewing will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home, on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 9:00 AM-3:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral service at 10:00 AM, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home.
