Eulalia ( Lala ) Najar

Memorial services are scheduled on Tuesday May 31, 2016, 10:00 AM, at Anderson-Bethany Funernal Home for Eulalia Najar (LaLa) who passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. LaLa will lie in state for visitation on Saturday, May 28, 2016, and Sunday, May 29, 2016, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. LaLa was born on March 5, 1932, to Francisco and Concepcion Najar in Roswell, N.M ... She was 84 years old. She lived all her life in Roswell and her main skill was as a seamstress, although she had many other abilities. She knew how to do plumbing, gardening, upholstering of furniture and vehicles and electrical jobs around the house, to name a few. She is survived by one brother, Frank (Paco) Najar and wife, EmmaDean of Albuquerque, and one sister, Emilia Herrera of Roswell; her three children: Santiago Molina and wife, Rose of Waco, TX, Noemi Ceballos and husband, Bernardino Ceballos of Roswell, and Ben Sanchez of the family home. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Ben Sanchez Jr., Noemi Sedillo, Stephanie Vallejos, Nicole Flores, Monica Ceballos, Nino Ceballos, Omar Ceballos, and Albert Ceballos; twenty-three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. LaLa was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Bowden in 2005; and four brothers and three sisters. LaLa was always glad to have people visit her at home. If you came over you were greeted with a smile and good conversation. When you left, you more than likely would leave with Chile, Peanut Brittle, or Cookies. If you saw something you liked in her home, you would more than likely leave with that too. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Encompass for their compassionate and loving care they bestowed on our mom while they cared for her, and Gentiva Hospice for all the assistance, advice and compassion. Pallbearers will be: Ben Sanchez Jr., Ben Sanchez III, Ramon DelosSantos, Rudy Sedillo, Nino Ceballos, and Omar Ceballos. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Paul Horton, Monica Ceballos, Nicole Flores, Stephanie Vallejos, and Noemi Sedillo. Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.
