Jo-Nicholas A. Aguilar Herrera

The devil whispered to the “warrior” you’re not strong enough to withstand the storm,” and the warrior whispered back “I AM THE STORM” Jo-Nicholas A. Aguilar Herrera was born an identical twin to Blacita Herrera and Joseph A. Aguilar. Jo-Nicholas Alfredo and Andrez Nathan-Ray were born on December 28, 1997. Jo-Nick joined Christ’s Army on April 25th, 2021. He is a soldier for Christ along with his oldest brother Xavyr Jo-Ray Herrera, grandfather Reyes P. Herrera, Tio Fransisco R. Herrera and Fransisco “Cisco” Herrera Jr. He was also recieved in heaven by his sister Santana Aguilar, Grandmother Amelia Herrera, Tia Ana Delgado, Tia Sandra Aguirre and his Tia Racheal Gamboa. Jo-Nicholas is now a guardian angel to his beautiful lil mini me, Azmeralda C. Lucero (3yrs). He spent his last day protecting his daughter Conya Brown 1yr. He loved his daughters more than life itself. (Please keep his babies in your prayers.) His brother Santiago And Andrez Aguilar are his earthly warriors dedicated to reach the lost at any cost. They thought by taking 2 from our circle we would be broken but the devil was wrong, he made us stronger in faith!!! We gotta tell you Satan you cannot cross this bloodline; you will lose this battle because we’re covered by the precious blood of Jesus. Jo-Nicholas was loved by many, but nothing compared to his familia. Loved and never forgotten by His nephews Santiago and Xavyr Aguilar, Andrez and Xander Herrera and his beautiful niece Adalina Santanna Rose Herrera. Nick loved his sister Brittney Sanchez even though she ran him over occasionally, but he called those love taps! He is Loved and never forgotten by Tio Lorenzo Cobos, Philip Pompa, Lorenzo, Reyes, Hernando Herrera, Roy Gonzalez and Lawrence Aguilar. His loving Tias Ermalinda Herrera Wylie, Christina Aragon, Norma Pompa, Sylvia Gonzalez, Christina Jimenez-Herrera, Carol Herrera, Angie Herrera, Carol Jaramillo, Lavytta and Eunice Herrera. Memories will live on forever in all Jo-Nicholas cousins (primos) Marcelina, Blanca, Santiago, Shiela, Felicia, Seniada, Serena, Lydia Jean, Javier, Miguel, Domingo, Reyes, Reyes Cruz, Analycia, Jaqueline, Andrew, Danny II, Danielle and Audra. Nick loved his lil cousins Destiny, Danny III. Danson, Daniel, Zylinda, Azalyiah, Miguelito, Natalie, Shorty, Azerah, Jazmine, Zariah, T , Amelia, Angel, Miguelito, Olympus, and so many many more. Special thanks to his step/rent a dad Garry “Klickers” Cobos for all the love and consejos. Garry’s memories as he states; Nick respected me as father figure. My memories of him are always joking around together and if I had anything to say Nick listened with full attention. I will miss him greatly. “ Nick had a contagious laugh that sounded so much like Scooby Doo you could not help but laugh with him. He was the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back or help you even if he had nothing to give. He was humble, loving and courageous and boy did he have a sense of humor. He loved to sing and dance. Growing up with a mama who sang in bands and love for music, the twins were mamas dancing partners and lil roadies. He didn’t understand a lick of Spanish but sang it whole heartedly. When it came to Tejano music he could cut a rug! The meaning of a warrior is someone who is a brave and experienced fighter. Nick stood his ground, never backed down, and always protected his own. In His testimony he would say when his brother Xavyr was taken he didn’t just lose a friend, but he would say “My Dad “. Xavyr loved his lil brothers as his own and helped me raise them with respect and loyalty to those who deserved it. Xavyr death threw us all into a different world we were not used to. So much heartache and mess in our lives. No more mess but now a message to stop this violence and speak healing and salvation to those left behind. We forgive you for taking him from us. We will never forget. His name will live on!!!! Nick would call home and always share scripture with me and as a mama I couldn’t be prouder. He knew the Lord and accepted him as his savior. Nick was baptized not only as a baby but when he became a man as well. He entered into the mens Christian Home with his twin brother Andrez. That evening is embedded in our memories forever. The moment they opened the door, Andrez was standing on the inside and Nick the outside, they both yelled “Brother” in an excited and eager voices and hugged so tight you could feel their bond from a distance. Although he didn’t stay very long, his decision to leave was to work to provide for his girls. Funny story about both them boys, as healthy as they are, broke the beds they provided for them. Sorry pastor only solid wood for mama’s big boys! Andrez was devastated when Nick left the program continuing in prayer for his Twin brother. It was only a very short time after that Nick was called home. It’s amazing how God allowed us all to speak or spend time with him. His last conversation with his brother Santiago was beautiful. They shared memories, laughed cried as Santiago was able to tell him how much he loved him. He made peace with his father, Nick spent time with Mom and his godmother Ermalinda of coarse on a road trip to the casino!!! So, it’s not goodbye, but we’ll see you when its time. The morning of April 25th at 7:30 a.m. Santiago called Mom and told her “Get up women you gotta go to church! By the way hows my little brother Mom, I’m worried about Nick, I had a weird but Beautiful dream. I dreamt Xavyr and Nick Were walking on a road in front of me it was beautiful all around. Nick and Xavyr were smiling and laughing yelled Hey Xavyr, Hey Nick, but they wouldn’t turn around and as I ran faster towards them they kept going further away from me. What does that mean Mom?” At the time we only knew it was a dream only later that night to recieve a call that Nick had been called home. We take comfort in Santiago’s dream knowing that Xavyr and him are in paradise happy, carefree and no more tears, no more sorrow. As the parable of the lost sheep goes: Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep. I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. (Luke 15: 4-7) Special message from his Nina/Tia Linda: I held you as baby in my arms and watched you growing up along with your handsome twin. I will treasure your beautiful smile and your laughter. Clowning around and never disrespecting. YOUR TIA / NINA. I LOVE YOU MIJO & I BELIEVE YOU ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD. YOUNG, WILD AND FREE!! FLY HIGH WITH THE ANGELS MY SON.
