Richard Herrera

A rosary will be recited for Richard Herrera, 52, of Roswell at 7:00 pm Friday, May 22, 2009 at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated for Richard at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009 at St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Juan Montoya O.F.M. officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Richard passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at his home. Richard was born May 2, 1957 to Arturo Sepulveda III and Isabel Herrera in Morton, Texas. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family especially loved his grandchildren. He loved his low riders, Harley Davidson, watching wrestling, going to the casino and eating tortillas. His favorite pastime other than being with his family was watching his favorite NFL team the San Francisco 49’ers. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by two daughters; Christina Herrera of Clovis, Isabel Herrera of Roswell, four sons; Christopher Herrera and Erica, Richard Herrera Jr. and Claudia, Jerome Chavez and Raquel, Thomas Herrera all of Roswell, nine brothers; Julio Herrera and Sinny, Paul Herrera and Toni, Henry Herrera and Rose, Albert Herrera, Robert Herrera and Yolanda, all of Roswell, Monroy Herrera and Eva of Hereford, TX, Rudy Sepulveda and Amelia of Leveland, TX, Arthur Sepulveda of Bledsoe, TX, Bebe Salazar and Anna of Albuquerque, four sisters; Rosa Anaya of Bledsoe, Elvira Flores, of Muleshoe, Amelia Salazar and Jackie of Morton, Pricilla Mendoza and Joe of Hereford, Joann Ornelas and Jose Luis of Van Horn, sixteen grandchildren; Santiago Herrera, Sidney Martinez, Robert Linares Jr., Celestina, Ceryena and Norbert Herrera Jr., Emerale Cortez, Christopher Herrera Lil Yogi Jr., Annalicia J. Herrera, Richard Herrera Lil Booboo Jr. III, Patricia, Janessa, Elisema Herrera, Adam, Erin and Aubreanna Garcia, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Richard was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Christopher Herrera, Bebe Salazar, Jerome Chavez, Anthony Herrera, Roy Flores, Raul Sepulveda, Henry Dominguez and Raul Gomez. Honorary Pallbearers will be all his brothers, sisters , nieces and nephews.
