Aaron R. Blossom

On Monday, October 28, 2024, the world lost an unforgettable soul. Aaron Rea Blossom was a deeply loved and cherished son, husband, and father. Berrendo Rd., on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 12 pm. Aaron was born June 19, 1972, in Albuquerque, NM to parents David Blossom and Sandra Brisco. He grew up in Roswell, NM, attending Goddard High School and graduating in 1990. He then enlisted in the Army, serving as a combat veteran in the first Gulf War. He continued to serve, stationed in Hawaii, before being honorably discharged in 1993. Following his service, Aaron pursued a career in nursing, working as a highly respected RN for 27 years. His compassion and dedication did not go unrecognized by patients and coworkers, and he was named “Nurse of the Year” in 2013 by Lovelace Regional Hospital. Aaron was an intellectual, a lover of knowledge, and an avid reader. He was a gaming and movie enthusiast; his favorite family activities involved a board game or a trip to the movie theater. He enjoyed hiking and camping and always had an idea of where he’d like to explore next. In September 1989, Aaron met Krystal, his future wife and they were married on February 14, 1997. They welcomed their son, Zachary, in January 1995 and their daughter, Kayley, in September 1998. Aaron had so much love and admiration for his children and spoiled them beyond belief. Speaking of spoiled, Aaron also had a deep love for his pets, his home taken over and run by three cats and a dog. Left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Krystal Blossom; children: Zachary Blossom ( and partner Arianna) and Kayley Blossom (and partner Jonathan); mother and stepfather: Sandra and Stan Brisco; father, David Blossom; mother-in-law, Debbie Morgan; sister, Bonnie (David) their children Cameron, Riley and Nora and sister Nikki, and her children Haley and Alex; and sister, Vanessa (Ron) and their children, McCary, Ashton, Jaden, and Sealy; brother, Dustin (Kim) and children, Dylan, Maddie, and Riley; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; pets: Kitty, Juno, Calli, Bryn, and grandpets. Aaron was preceded in death by father-in-law, Jim Morgan; maternal grandparents: John and Pauline Beckham; paternal grandparents: Lorna and Rea Blossom along with Jean Fulkerson and Paul Brisco; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to thank everyone for their love, support and kind words during this difficult time.
