Adam Tavarez

On March 15, 1973, Daniel and Isabel Tavarez welcomed son Adam Patrick Tavarez into the world in Perryton, TX. Adam attended school in Roswell, NM graduating from University High School in 1991. Adam was the beloved husband of Adriana Morones Tavarez. They were married on July 6, 2002, in Roswell NM surrounded by friends and family. Both Adam and Adriana were members of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. At the time of his passing, Adam worked for TNT Construction/Krumland Auto Group. Over the years, he acquired many skills and trades including HVAC and window/door installation or replacement. At any time, day or night, you could call on Adam and he would be there with a smile on his face to lend a helping hand. Adam and his wife met most days for lunch, and the question was always the same “What do you want to eat? Well, what do you want to eat?” Adam was an avid hunter. He loved being outdoors hunting deer and elk. His favorite past time was definitely going to the casino. He loved playing the slot machines, the thrill of winning, often times taking home some big wins. Adam shared a special bond with Ben (Benny as he liked to call him) Ramirez, his nephew. They grew up together as brothers. As time went on, their bond remained the same. Those who will forever walk in the light of his love are his wife, Adriana Tavarez; daughters: Crystal Servantez and spouse Christopher, Valerie Tavarez and Armando Borunda, Melissa Morones and Melissa Martinez, Arianna Morones and Efrain Reyes; grandchildren: Annizette Saavedra, Eliseo Servantez, Christopher Servantez, Azmariah Borunda, Nathaniel Borunda, Jordan Borunda, Ezekiel Borunda, Kamyl Serrano, Katrel Avery, Moises Reyes, and Julian Reyes; great grandchild, Kadio Montoya; mother, Isabel Tavarez; siblings: Anthony Tavarez and wife Tammy, Andy Tavarez and wife Rosalinda, Alfred Tavarez and wife Donna, Albert Tavarez and Andrea Tavarez; goddaughter, Annalysia Vancleve; and numerous nieces and nephews. Adam is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Tavarez; sister, Angie Ramirez; father and mother-in-law Marcos and Juanita Morones; sisters-in-law: Dottie Tavarez and Yolanda Alvarado; and niece, Adelina Tavarez. Those blessed to be chosen as honorary pallbearers are Marcos Morones and wife Irene, Ralph Morones and Olga Vasquez, Adan Morones and wife Rebecca, Crystal Delgado and husband Angel. He is remembered with deep affection by his best friends, Pete Lujan, Ronnie Castillo, Rudy Castillo, Junior Benitez, Victor Ramirez, and nephew Alfred Tavarez Jr., whose unwavering friendship was a constant source of strength throughout his life.
