Alma Christine Musick

Alma Christine Musick went to be with the Lord and Savior on Monday April 7, 2014. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was 80 years old living in Roswell. Her Funeral will be 10 AM, Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Midway Baptist Church with Leo Pennington and Steve Bertin officiating. Burial to follow at South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 12 pm - 8 pm at the funeral home. Alma was born October 31, 1933 to Johnnie Wooton and Elda Johnson Wooton in Watonga, Oklahoma. She worked at Levi Strauss for 35 years. Loved to garden, sew, quilt, attend church functions, cook and listen to Christian gospel. She also loved to fish, camp and enjoy the great outdoors. Most of all playing games and being with her family. Alma is survived by 3 children, John Elvis Musick, precedes her in death; Shirley Marie Borem and her husband, Mike of Roswell, NM and Pattie Darrow and her husband, Frank of Henderson, NV; her brother, Johnnie Robert Wooton and his wife Charlotte of TX; her sister, Wilma Logsdon of Conchas Lake NM; Her Brother-in-law Kenneth Knott and wife Polly of Corsicana TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Michelle Borem-Wilson and Husband Travis and Children Kaitlynn and Justin of Roswell NM, Joseph Borem and Wife Michelle Porte-Borem of Clovis NM, Ronnie Musick and Wife Kim and Children Christopher, Lisa, Todd and Damon of Roswell NM, Vicki Woody and children CJ, Brandon & Angel of Roswell NM, Azure Dominguez and Husband Omar and daughter Jade of Roswell NM. Amber Miller and children Jasmine, Gabby, Jesse and Gage of Roswell NM, Jon Christopher Musick and son Julian of Roswell NM, Anna Musick and Daughter Isabella of Roswell NM. Special Thanks to Steve & Sandy Bertin, Dr. Braik, Dr Badine and staff at Kymera, Dr. Whitwam & Staff Eastern New Mexico Medical Center, Carmen & staff with Frontier Medical and Carrie Daniels. Friends: Doris, Bea, Oliva, Ruby, Lousie, Flo & Inosencia, Jan & JR, Joe Bell & Sharon, Beth, and the congregation of Midway Baptist Church for their out pour of love and support. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Elda Wooton, her husband, Joe Elvis Musick, her son John Elvis Musick, her sisters, Midge Garman and Bonnie Lasiter.
