Arthur Christopher (Tootie) Marquez passed away May 24, 2026, in Roswell New Mexico. There will be a viewing at Church on The Move on Thursday June 11,2026 at 10am-12pm. Funeral Services to follow from 12pm-1pm with Pastor Tim Aguilar officiating. No Interment will follow. On March 14,1981 Arthur Christopher (Tootie) Marquez was born to Arthur Marquez and Angie Garcia in Roswell New Mexico. Arthur was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He was a member of Church on The Move of Roswell New Mexico. He graduated from Roswell High School in 1999. He was a hard worker and put his heart into all he did. He worked for Farmers Country Market for many years, and he gave his last 2 years of hard work and dedication to Fuller Supply of Roswell New Mexico. Arthur enjoyed watching Football, he rooted for the Roswell High School Football team and enjoyed watching Texas Long Horn College football but loved the NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Arthur enjoyed golfing any chance he would get, he called this “Me Time”. Arthur loved trying to out fish his nephew Ike but never got too. He loved dancing and listening to music his favorite song was M/J. Arthur cherished many things in life, family being most important and enjoyed the quality time with them. He not only loved his Brother, Nephews, Niece, Tia’s, Tio’s, Cousins but his one and only partner his dog Rex (dog). Arthur was a jokester but was defiantly there for others with such a big heart and loved hard. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Those left to cherish and treasure memories of Arthur are his Brother Isaac Molinar, Nephew’s Isaac Joel (Ike) Molinar, Jesse James Molinar, Adrian Ray ( Bean) Molinar-Baca, Angelo Elfine (Lowzie) Molinar-Baca Niece Anglina (Buggy) Molinar, Dad Arthur Marquez (wife Brenda) stepbrother Jeremey Vargas, half-brother Adrian Marquez, Tia’s Betty Garcia Gamboa, Eva Garcia Villarreal (husband Pete) Esther Garcia, Tio’s Frankie Garcia (wife Denna) Tia Amy Garcia (husband Rick) Tio’s Richard Marquez (wife Linda) Sammy Marquez (wife Dallas). Arthur is preceded in death by his mom Angie Garcia, Grandparents Elfin & Mary Louis Garcia, Richard & Stella Marquez, his Tia’s Gloria Garcia Sedillo, Sally Garcia Bara, Beatrice Garcia Medrano, his Tio’s Benny Garcia, Ray Bara, Richard Medrano, Alfred Gamboa and Stepbrother Frankie Vargas. Those blessed to serve as Honoray Pallbearers are Isaac Molinar, Ike Molinar, Anthony Gustamantes, Jesse Rodriguez, and Reynaldo Madrid. The family would like to give they’re thanks to Anderson Bethany Funeral Home, Church on the Move, Fullers Supply Company, and to all those who have sent their love, prayers, flowers and food.
