Bennie Ray Briseno, 21, was born July 2, 1994, to Brenda & Salvador Briseno in Roswell, NM. Bennie Ray passed away on May 2, 2016. A rosary will be recited on Sunday, May 8, 6:00 PM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. A funeral mass, officiated by Fr. Eduardo Espinosa, will be held on Monday, May 9, at St. John’s Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 AM. Burial to follow at South Park Cemetery. Bennie Ray loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and life. Bennie Ray was an active young man and lived life for the moment. He was ready and willing to help everybody and was a skilled handyman. He cherished his children and spent time with them regularly. He loved his family very much and will truly be missed. Bennie Ray had a charming personality about him and lived life to the fullest. He is survived by his mother, Brenda Briseno; brothers: Vicente Ramirez and Isaac Briseno; half-brother, Salvador Briseno, Jr; sister, Leanna Briseno; half-sister, Savannah Briseno; and his true loves: Brianna Bernal and his two beautiful children, Damien and Mia Rae Briseno; his beloved grandparents: Fred and Terry Ramirez, Raymond Farmer, Tia Christina and John Zepeda, Tia Becky and David Valenzuela, Tia Erica and Frank Montoya; nieces: Emma and Aylinn Briseno; cousins: Gemma and Nate Ramirez, Corinna, Lorenna & Sophia Zepeda, Isaiah, Elijah and Emilio Valenzuela, Fermine & Stanley Montoya. He was preceded in death by his father, Salvador Briseno; grandparents: Linda and Roger Montoya; and uncle, Ernesto Montoya. Serving as pallbearers are Isaac Briseno, Ben Ramirez, Vincente Ramirez, Nate Ramirez, Christopher Andazola, and Fermine Montoya. Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Andazola, Candido Andazola, Ray Sedillo, Raymond (Bud) Gonzales, Tylor Juarez, Veronica Sena, Frank Ponce, Amanda, Brittany, & Andrew Sanchez, Jimmy Ramirez, Jr., and all of his other cousins.
