Obituary for Beverly Kaye Gameson Beverly Kaye Gameson was born March 3, 1937 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho to Alfred A. Parker and Erma Potter Parker. Beverly’s mother died when she was a child. Before she left this life her final wish was for her Mother and Father to raise Beverly, so she was raised by her grandparents, John Willard Potter and Martha Lucinda Allen Potter. Beverly married Shirley Ray Gameson on March 3, 1964 in Pocatello, Idaho. Shirley had three children from a previous marriage, Shirley Ray Gameson Jr., Vicki Diane and Randall Lee, and Beverly had two sons from a previous marriage, Melvin Eugene and Curtis Lee. Shirley adopted and gave them his name when he married Beverly. Shirley and Beverly had two sons, Al DeLon (Lonnie) and Troy Lynn Gameson. Shirley came up through the ranks at Bannock Co. Sheriff’s Office. He was there 26 years, ending his career as a Sheriff of Bannock County when Carl Croft retired. Beverly spent 24 years working at Farmers Insurance. She retired in 1990 to be with her beloved husband. They bought a home on Lake Whitney in Laguna Park, Texas where they lived for 9 years. In 1999 they sold that home and bought their home in Roswell, N.M., to be in a better climate with better health care facilities and doctors. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, grandparents, mother, father, one son Curtis Lee, a sister Alene Parker, one step sister, Vicki Zimmerman and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is survived by three sons, Melvin Eugene, Al DeLon and Troy Lynn Gameson, one stepdaughter and two stepsons, Shirley Ray Gameson Jr., Vicki Diane Woods, Randall Lee Gameson, one sister ; Donna Stoddard and her husband John, her half sister; Sandi Parker, her half brother; Lynn Parker, one stepbrother; David Hanes, three granddaughters; Kelly Sperry and Ella Gameson, one grandson; Austin Gameson, three great granddaughters, Julia, Madeline and Isabella Breeden, two very special great nieces Madison and Aiden Renn, one niece, Jennifer Renn and two nephews, Christopher Stoddard and Ty Parker.
