Obituary for Carlota Gomez Tarin A rosary will be recited for Carlota Gomez Tarin, 77, of Roswell, NM on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 7:00 pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A funeral service will be celebrated, for Carlota at 10:00 am Thursday, September 12, 2013, at St. John’s Church with Deacon Ernesto Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Carlota passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2013. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 10, 2013 1pm -8pm and Wednesday, September 11, 2013 8am – 5pm at the funeral home. Carlota was born November 4, 1935 to Agustin Gomez and Dorotea (Renteria)Gomez in Mulato, Chihuahua Mexico. She loved her garden and flowers, cooking, embroidery, and liked to keep her family in line, she was a mother to everyone, loved her family very much, was a strong woman (the rock), very giving and a great cook, you never left her home hungry. In addition to her husband, Pedro, Carlota is survived by four out of eight children: Raul Tarin and his wife, Stella, and their children, Teresa, Belinda, Pedro, and Misty; Daghoberto Tarin and daughter-in-law, Rose Tarin and their children, Jamie, Hector, and Veronica; Augustin Tarin and his wife, Lorena, and their children, Gilbert and Angelica all of Roswell; Michael Tarin and his wife, Angela and their children Rebekah, Kristin, Renee, Allison and all of North Carolina; other grandchildren, Angel, Arturo and Stephanie; two out of twelve siblings: Gabina and Romelia; and twenty great-grandchildren. Carlota is preceded in death by four children: Arturo, Miguel, Luzmila, and Lupe; nine siblings, Leonardo, Petra, Juan, Francisco, Fidencio, Demacia, Antonio, Alberto, and Lupe; one great grandchild. The family would like to extend special thanks to Romelia and her daughter Rebecca for all their love and support during Carlota’s time of illness. El servicio se llevara acabo el Jueves, 12 de Septiembre, 2013 a las 10 am en la iglesia San Jaun Bautista con el Diacono Ernesto Martinez officiando la misa. El entierro despues de la misa en el Cementerio South Park. Si le gustaria visitar a Carlota, la familia los recibira el Martes de 1 a 8 pm, y el Miercoles de 8 am a 5 pm en la capilla de la funeraria Anderson Bethany. Carlota fallecio el Domingo, 8 de Septiembre, 2013. Carlota nacio el 4 de Noviembre, 1935 al Sr. Agustin Gomez y la Sra. Dorotea Renteria en Mulato, Chihuhua Mexico. A Carlota le gustaba su jardin de flores, cocinar, embordar, le gustaba tener sus hijos en orden, era una mama a todos, le tenia mucho amor a su familia, era una señora firme, compartible y muy buena cocinera, nunca salian de su casa con hambre. En addicion a su esposo, Pedro, Carlota la sobreviven sus cuatro hijos de ocho; Raul Tarin y su esposa Stella, y sus hijos, Teresa, Belinda, Pedro, y Misty; Daghoberto Tarin y su nuera, Rose Tarin y sus hijos, Jaime, Hector, y Veronica; Augustin Tarin y sus esposa Lorena, y sus hijos Gilbert, Angelica, todos de Roswell; Michael Tarin y su esposa Angela, y sus hijos, Rebekah, Kristen, Renee y Allison de North Carolina; otros nietos; Angel, Arturo, y Stephanie; dos hermanas, Gabina y Romelia; y veinte bis-nietos. A Carlota le proceden en muerte cuatro hijos, Arturo, Miguel, Luzmila, y Lupe; nueve hermanos, Leonardo, Petra, Juan, Francisco, Fidencio, Demacia, Antonio, Alberto y Lupe; y un bis-nieto. La familia le gustaria darle las gracia especialmente, a Romelia y su hija Rebecca por el amor y apoyo en el tiempo de la enfermedad de Carlota.
