Christine Marie Sisneros, 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, with her two sons by her side. A Visitation will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM with her Funeral Services to begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hagerman Cemetery. On October 14, 1954, Christine was born to Lupe Mendoza and Ben Sisneros in Roswell, New Mexico, as the eldest of eight siblings. She attended Goddard High School where she graduated. Christine left behind a legacy of love; she was a devoted mother whose life was defined by her unwavering commitment to her family and to the values she held dear. She found joy in simple moments like taking walks and spending time with her grandchildren; her grandchildren were truly the joy of her life. Christine was known for being a feisty strong-willed woman who did things her way. She is deeply mourned by her family, who will forever cherish her memory and the lasting impact of her love. Christine’s influence lives on in the hearts she shaped, the lives she touched and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Christine is survived by her sons: Augustine Valencia and significant other Kenan Tiller, and Carlos Valencia; grandchildren: Santiago Valencia, Roman Valencia, Alyssa Valencia, and Enzo Valencia; mother, Lupe Mendoza; siblings: Raymond Sisneros and significant other Cindy Chiles, Eddie Sisneros and significant other Beth Aeby, Adrian Sisneros and significant other Dana Sisneros, Ronnie Sisneros and significant other Velia Sisneros, John Sisneros and significant other Tina Sisneros, Monica Torrez and significant other Ray Torrez, Steven Mendoza and significant other Lori Shirley; nephews: Johnathan Torrez and significant other Angelea Salazar, Raymond Torrez and significant other Venessa Garcia, Allen Helmstetler, AJ Sisneros, Chris Sisneros, John Sisneros, Justin Sisneros, Matthew Sisneros, Phillip Sisneros and significant other Jessica Devalle, Joseph Faggion; nieces: Casondra Lujan and significant other Pete Lujan and Sara Henegar and significant other David Henegar. Christine is preceded in death by her father, Ben Sisneros. Honorary Pallbearers are Raymond Sisneros, Eddie Sisneros, Adrian Sisneros, Ronnie Sisneros, John Sisneros, Steven Mendoza, and Monica Torrez. Pallbearers are Augustine Valencia, Carlos Valencia, Santiago Valencia, Roman Valencia, Johnathan Torrez, and Allen Helmstetler.
