You could guarantee there was never a dull moment when Cristian was around. He was best known for making funny jokes and impersonations and for always having a smirky grin on his face all the time. Cristian Carlos Olivas Moreno was born on December 23, 1996, and left this world unexpectedly on Sunday October 1, 2023! Cristian was born to Dora Olivas and Lorenzo Moreno Sr. in Roswell, New Mexico. Viewing will be held on Tuesday October 10, 2023, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home with Rosery to follow at 6:00 pm. Funeral mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday October 11, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Parish in Dexter, with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery. Reception to follow burial at New Beginnings. Cristians’ heart overflowed with compassion, dedicating his time and energy to doing anything he could to help those he loved. His favorite hobby was watching his #1 team the Dallas Cowboys play their seasons games. Fishing was his favorite getaway, even had a lucky spot at Lake Van where he could spend endless hours with Tio Mario. Going out to the river or any open area Cris enjoyed citing the scope on his riffles and shooting his gun’s regularly with his brothers and close friends. Hanging out and chilling with Tio David was another pastime he loved. Cristian dedicated his time to go above and beyond for his immediate family, but especially for his niece Dev. He was always doing anything he could to male their lives easier, better, or simply less stressful. The Gomez Club was always Cristians #1 choice to go dancing or just enjoy live music. He’d say because Sonia was the only person to provide the best service to anyone who went, but especially to him anytime he was there. Cristian had an enormous heart; he was known by all who crossed his path for his warmth and kindness. He was the person to call to call when you needed a lending hand, and he would answer you day or night. He was such a silly person that would make anyone laugh. He had a personality like no other person and was definitely one of a kind. Just a few minutes around him would make your day. Cristina was a respectful person with a good character that was looked up to by many. He has reached his destination to be with the Lord, accompanied by his cousin Zion, best friend James, his Tio Mon, and good friend Sergio. Cristian's passing was a profound shock to his family and friends. We are all the lucky ones, to have known and loved Cristian thru the years. He is deeply missed. Cristian tenía un corazón enorme, era conocido por todos los que se cruzaban en su camino por su calidez y amabilidad, la persona a quien llamar cuando necesitabas una mano, y Cristian era quien te respondía día o noche. Era una persona tan chistoso que haría reír a todos. Tenía una personalidad como ninguna otra persona, definitivamente única. Sólo unos minutos a su alrededor te alegrarían el día. Cristian era una persona respetuosa y de buen carácter, admirada por muchos. Ha llegado a su destino para estar con el Señor, acompañado de su primo Zion, su mejor amigo James, su tío Mon y buen amigo Sergio.
