Cynthia "Cyndi" Oliva Rossi

Cynthia “Cyndi” Oliva Rossi was born on August 23, 1971, in Roswell, New Mexico, to Ventura and Angelica Martinez. Cyndi was married to her loving husband, William Keith Rossi, on August 17, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They resided in Roswell, New Mexico, together for the last eight years, but she has lived here nearly her whole life. Cyndi graduated from Eastern New Mexico University Roswell with her associates in respiratory therapy. She was a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for over 17 years before following her lifelong dream of becoming a stay-at-home wife. Cyndi was living her best life. She enjoyed reading books, spending time with all of her family and friends, and watching tons of movies in her spare time. Cyndi couldn’t wait to see the next big flick. When she wasn’t watching adventures on the big screen, she was out creating her own with her husband. She enjoyed volunteering at the Senior Olympics with her daughter, Azalea. Cyndi also enjoyed arts and crafts of different varieties. She encouraged her son, Nathan, to explore his artistic side through a tattoo medium and even allowed him to practice on her. Cyndi was always trying something new and wanted to experience everything at least once. Cyndi passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021. She was three weeks shy of her 50th birthday. She will be missed dearly, but now she is reunited with her parents and sister and is no longer in pain. Cyndi was a light in this life. Cyndi was always there when you needed her and always put others before herself. No matter what time or how far, she was there if you called and you needed help. She wanted nothing more than to see those around her happy. Cyndi was always “the life of the party,” and her memory will be kept alive by those who loved her. Those left to cherish beautiful memories of Cyndi are her husband, William Keith Rossi; four children: Azalea Martinez-Cadengo, Nathaniel Martinez, Rayleen Rossi, and Travis Rossi. She left behind four sisters and three brothers: Irelia Jaramillo, Arturo Martinez, Magdiel Martinez, Idalia Lynch, Hector Martinez, Ana Colter, Deana Martinez; and twenty-eight nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and sister, Elyda. A Memorial Service will be held at Presbyterian Church, 201 W. Fifth Street, Dexter, NM, on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 1:00 PM.
