It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Esther C Jauregui De Duarte, who peacefully passed away in her home surrounded by her husband, children, family, and friends. Esther Jauregui De Duarte was born to Juana Jauregui De Lopez on February 5, 1950, in Cuidad Juarez, Chihuahua. Esther was the beloved wife of Oscar H. Duarte, whom she married on May 21, 1982, in Praxedis G. Guerrero, Chihuahua. For 47 years, they shared a life full of love and laughter and cherished many fond memories. Esther was the most fantastic mother and nana; she spent so much time with her children, grandchildren, and family; they were her greatest joy and love. She had the most special bond with all of them, each in their own way. All her grandchildren loved to spend time with her; they had so much fun dancing around the house, playing outside, going out for ice cream, watching her favorite programs, and having sleepovers. Esther’s amazing spirit brought so much joy and peace to her entire family. Esther’s passions included tending to her lawn and garden, where she could spend hours; it was her place of peace; she always had the most beautiful lawn and roses. Her pride and joy were the red roses that she grew so beautifully. She could grow anything and guaranteed that they would be the most beautiful site that you had ever seen. She also loved going to bingo, it was her way to unwind and enjoy quality time chatting up a storm with her sisters. Sometimes, she would even take her grandkids along. Esther loved going on road trips to visit family with her husband; of those trips, she especially enjoyed the times that they visited her son in Mexico the best. She enjoyed spending all the time that she could with him. Esther and Oscar would take short trips to get away, enjoy the view, or enjoy ice cream together. She had the most genuine love for her family. We will forever treasure the memories and time that we spent with her. We will look forward to the day that we are reunited with her in heaven. Esther, your love, care, and protection for each of us will be greatly missed. Our family will never be the same; there is no one like you, and there never will be again. You were the greatest mother that God could have given us, and you did your best to show us how much you loved us every day. We will forever be grateful for everything that you did for us. We love you, Mom; you will always be in our hearts. Esther is survived by her husband Oscar H Duarte; son, Alejandro Duarte; daughters, Claudia Duarte (Alejandro Ocon), Imelda Vigil (Edward) and Marisela Jauregui; grandchildren, Esmerelda Duarte, Yasmeen Marrufo, Edward Yosef Vigil, Edward Vigil Jr., Isaac Iglesias, Isaias Iglesias, Clarissa Ocon, Alejandro Ocon Jr., Amarissa Ocon, Alexandra Ocon, Adrian Lopez, and Isabella Lopez; siblings, Ines Hernandez, Oscar Jaure (Leticia), Isabel Ceballos (Alvaro), Martha Lopez (Ramon Hernandez), Bertha Chavez (Sergio), Jose Lopez, Guadalupe Hernandez (Jorge); close friends, Luz Carrillo, Ana Rios, and Viki Ortega; and 26 nieces and nephews. Esther is preceded in death by her mother, Juana Jauregui De Lopez; brother-in-law, Antonio Hernandez; nephews, Omar Felix, Daniel Jaure, and Anel Jaure; and close friend, Celia Quezada. Blessed to be chosen as Honorary Pallbearers are Esmerelda Duarte, Yasmeen Marrufo, Isaias Iglesias, Edward Vigil Jr., Clarissa Ocon, Alejandro Ocon, Amarissa Ocon, Alexandra Ocon, and Isabella Lopez. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Adrian Lopez, Isaac Iglesias, Edward Yosef Vigil, Alessandro Law, Rolando Iglesias, Valente Ruiz Jr., Edward Vigil, and Alejandro Ocon. Esther’s tribute was written in honor and love by her family. There will be a fellowship luncheon following the burial service, at Berrendo Baptist Church, located at 700 East Berrendo Road.
