Francisco Frank Pino

Francisco “Frank” Pino, 54, passed away on May 16, 2016 in Roswell, NM. He was born on October 10, 1961 in Amherst, TX, to Francisco S. and Mary Garcia Pino. As a counselor for over 30 years, Frank enjoyed his job counseling students and getting them through school. Frank worked with his dad when he was young, tinkering on old trucks. His hobbies included organic vegetable and rose gardening, making barn wood stock frames, and remodeling houses. Music by Santana was his favorite. Above all, Frank’s greatest love was spending time with his family and friends. Preceding Frank in death are his parents and a brother, David Pino. Those remaining to cherish Frank’s memory are: son, Cisco Pino of Roswell, NM; daughter, Alyssa Pino of Roswell, NM; mother of his children, Anna of Roswell, NM; brother, Israel Pino of Roswell, NM; sisters: Josephine Farmer (John) of Roswell, NM, Tonya Chavez (Arthur) of Roswell, NM, Kay Pino of Roswell, NM, Monica Cuthair of Roswell, NM, Mercedes Cuthair of Roswell, NM and Sonya Cuthair of Towaoc, CO. Additional survivors include nieces: Leann Chavez-Barela, Dominique and Desirae Archuleta, Estrea and Anjelika Barreras and Frances Lopez; nephews: Jason, Joseph and Jeremy Montoya, David Lee Bass, Bryan and Kevin Farmer, Andrew Pino, Pete Lopez and Dakota Pino, Matthew and Jasper Cuthair; great nieces and nephews, Paul Montoya, Angeline Montoya, R.J. Farmer, Elizabeth Mary Pino, Eliana Chavez-Horton, D.J. Barela and Jayden Cuthair. Honorary Pallbearers are Saun “Cowboy” Crowson, Chris Gomez, Rod Miller, Henry Miranda, Jim Molinar, Frank Montoya, Manuel Payne, Carlton Smith, Darrell Ward and Carlos Williams. Those chosen to be Pallbearers are Marty Brackeen, Gabe Estrada, Richard Griego, Danny Hererra, Mike Martinez and Justin Thompson. Viewing will be Thursday, May 19, 2016, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM with a Rosary following at 6:30 PM, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 20, 2016, 10:00 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, Roswell, NM. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Mission Arch Center for their care in Frank’s final days.
