Johnny Watson" Fuentes

A rosary will be recited for Johnny Daniel Fuentes, aka Johnny Guitar Watson, on Thursday September 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Johns Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday September 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Johnny passed away on Saturday September 4, 2010. Johnny was born on July 21, 1954 to Domingo Fuentes and Cecilia Escobar. He was raised by his father Domingo and his wife Geraldine J. Fuentes. He was a very loving and good hearted person and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He worked as a security guard, Culligan Water, and detailed cars. He had a passion for playing the guitar and also played the maracas. He enjoyed his Spanish and oldies music. His favorite saying was “not to worry.” He loved his dearest sister Dorothy and lived his life close to her. He also had a special cousin Chris Fuentes. Johnny is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Geraldine J Fuentes; a son, Gilbert Fuentes; a nephew Dominic Fuentes; four brothers Jerry Fuentes, George Fuentes, Michael Fuentes, and Wilfred Escobar; one sister Rita Nunez; paternal grandparents Ramon and Sophia Fuentes; maternal grandparents Albert and Dolores Jimenez; and numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his father Domingo Fuentes and his companion Terrie Prudencio; six sisters: Dorothy Fuentes, Cynthia Rodriguez, Debbie Nunez, Mary Dodie, Cissy Escobar; one brother Julian Fuentes; four children: Monica, Johnny Ray, Daniel, and Jessica; ten grandchildren; one great grandson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and a special aunt Weda Cecilia Marquez.
