A rosary for Jorge F. Molinar, 59, of Roswell, NM will be Sunday, July 13, 2014 at 7:00 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be Monday, July 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. Charlie Martinez officiating. Burial to follow at South Park Cemetery. Reception will be at the American Legion, Post 28. Jorge passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014. Jorge was born September 24, 1954 to Santiago James Molinar II and Susan Flores Molinar in Carlsbad, NM. Today, we are burying a legend, a man put on this earth to serve a purpose and purpose he did achieve! He was an awesome father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend to all. He was a man who loved to fish and hunt, a mechanic, a teacher, a man who devoted 33 years to the city of Roswell. He is a man who well be missed, loved, cherished and NEVER forgotten. His love will live forever in our hearts and his unique style of humor will forever ring of laughter to all. Jorge is survived by his son, Jorge M. Molinar Jr. and wife Lucero of Roswell; son Isaac J. Molinar of Roswell, NM; son, Christopher L. Lopez of Austin, TX; daughter, Lynette Y. Molinar of Roswell, NM; daughter, Kristy S. Molinar of Roswell, NM; daughter, LaAnna L. Molinar of Roswell, NM; brother, Vernon Molinar of Roswell, NM; brother, Santiago J. Molinar III of Roswell, NM; brother, Mark Molinar and wife Karla of Roswell, NM; 12 grandchildren, Anthony R. Ruiz, Irma O. Ruiz, Samantha R. Ruiz, Luis A. Ochoa jr., Avena V. Ochoa, Jorge M. Molinar III, Hazel A. Molinar, Haylie A. Molinar, Abigail D. Molinar, Isaac J. Molinar Jr., Jesse James Molinar; great grandchild, Emery U. Ruiz; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jorge was preceded in death by his wife Irma Alvarez Molinar, his father Santiago Molinar, brother, Manuel F. Molinar, surviving sister-in-law, Maria Molinar; brother, Steve Molinar; sister, Gemma S.
