Jose Hilario Rosas passes away in Lubbock, Texas on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. A rosary will be recited for Jose Hilario Rosas, age 63, of Roswell, New Mexico, at 6:00 pm, Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. The Resurrection Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 28, 2022 at St. John’s Catholic Church-Ave Maria Center, located at 401 E. Bland, Roswell, New Mexico 88203. Burial will follow at Hagerman Cemetery, located at 7670-7696 Shoshoni Rd, Hagerman, New Mexico. Funeral Reception will be at Chaves County Joy Center, located at 1822 North Montana Avenue, Roswell, New Mexico 88201. Jose Hilario Rosas was born January 14, 1959, Rodeo, Durango Mexico to Ferrel Garcia and Amalia Rosas. Southeastern New Mexico resident, since 1993, dedicating his life to the construction industry. In 1996 met his life partner, Maria Olga Holguin, who put down roots in Roswell, New Mexico; where he helped raise their Shelley, Jesus, Veronica, & Nancy, whom he treated as his own children & Alayah the apple of his eyes. Attended St. John’s Catholic Church. He was devoted to his family, hardworking, and a friend to all he met. He enjoyed music, dancing, and socializing with his friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his life partner, Maria Olga Holguin, of Roswell, New Mexico; his brother Miguel Garcia & wife Maria Luz; his sisters Maria Hilda Ramos of California, Julia Ramos of Durango Mexico, and Delia Marin & husband Jaime of Roswell, New Mexico; and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Ferrel Garcia & Amalia Rosas; sister Gloria Rosas; uncles Ignacio Rosas, Juan Rosas; cousin Liborio Rosas; brother-in-law Antonio Jiménez. Pallbearers: Jesus Carranza, Carlos Renteria, Ferrel Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Miguel Garcia Jr, Adrian Marin, Louie Marin, and Roberto Ramos. Honorary Pallbearers: Blessed to be chosen as Honorary Pallbearers are his nephews, friends, and brothers-in-law. The family of Jose Hilario Rosas wishes to extend sincere thanks to Chaves County Joy Center.
