Judy “JuJu” Bethany Funeral services for Judy Bethany, 60, of Roswell will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 23, 2008, at Church on the Move with Pastor Troy Smotherman officiating. Viewing will be Friday, August 22, 2008 from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home. Viewing in Okmulgee, OK will be Monday, August 25, 2008 from 8am to 12pm at McClendon Winters Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 25,2008,at 2:00 pm at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of McClendon Winters Funeral Home. Judy went home to be with our Lord Jesus, August 19, 2008. Judy loved to spend time with her family and friends. She cherished her children and grandchildren and showered them with love and life. She thoroughly enjoyed swimming, playing games, and shopping with her grandchildren. Judy was a 1966 graduate of Okmulgee high school. Judy had a very generous and loving heart and never met a stranger. She was loved and cherished by everyone she met. Judy and Darrel are co-owners of Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory of Roswell and worked side by side. If there was a need she would do all she could to see that it was met. Judy was born to David M. Milroy and Helen Louise Corbell Milroy on July 28, 1948 in Okmulgee, OK. Darrel and she were married December 30, 1970 in Hobbs, NM. Darrel survives her at the family home. In addition to her husband, Darrel, Judy is survived by her children, Shawn Bethany, Jason Bethany and his wife Melissa Bethany, and Christian Barnes all of Roswell; five grandchildren, Courtney, Savannah and Kaylee Bethany, David and Johnny Barnes; one great-grandaughter, Melodi; a sister Carol Belter and her husband Robert “Bob” Belter of Okmulgee, OK, one brother in law, Glen Bethany and his wife Linda and two nephews and Robby and Brett Bethany, Buisness Partners Kreg and Latona Keesee and her extended family at Anderson-Bethany, and numerous aunts,uncles and cousins. Judy was a member of Church on the Move and enjoyed worshiping the Lord there. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant sister. Pallbearers will be Kreg Keesee, Elton Reed, LeRoy Archuleta, Rick Ashby, Ron Fuller, Bill Green, Willie Vegara, and Art Green. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Joshua’s Men group at Church on the Move and the employees of Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory.
