Leroy Marshall

With great sadness, the family of Leroy Marshall wishes to share his passing on October 18, 2016. Leroy was born on July 25, 1957 in Roswell, New Mexico, to Alice Marshall. A Veteran, Leroy worked at Levi Straus and more recently as a handyman. He enjoyed family gatherings and fishing. Always smiling, Leroy was well liked by all who knew him. Josephine Greene was his life partner for over 30 years. The endearing name, “Pappy” is what Leroy was called by all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding Leroy in death were sister, Jessie Torrez and brother, Alfonso Pena. Surviving to cherish Leroy’s memory are his life partner, Josephine Greene of Roswell; daughter, Lisa Greene and son-in-law, Willie Herrera of Roswell; granddaughters: Salina Herrera and boyfriend, Josue Orozco, Audriana Herrera, Mariah Herrera and Adriana Sanchez all of Roswell; grandson, Willie Herrera, Jr and Reanna Vallejos of Roswell; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Herrera; great-grandsons: Willie Herrera and Ezekiel Orozco; sister, Phillis (Jene) Gutierrez of Roswell; brothers: Robert (Marth) Marshall and Joseph Marshall and special niece, Francine Franco. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, October 26, 2016, 6:00 PM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be Thursday, October 27, 2016, 10:00 AM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Willie Herrera, Junior Herrera, Josue Orozco and Robert Marshall. The family wishes to Thank Gentiva Hospice in Albuquerque, NM, for their kind and compassionate care.
