In the early morning hours of Monday, May 27, 2019, the world lost a beautiful soul. Lynda Marie Franco, 53, passed away peacefully at her childhood home. SERVICES: Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Service Celebration of Lynda’s purpose driven life at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On May 25, 1966, Lynda was born in Roswell, New Mexico, to Santos and Priscilla Franco. PRECEDED: Lynda was preceded in death by her father, Santos Franco Sr., who loved and adored her, as she was his only daughter. SURVIVORS: Those left to honor and cherish Lynda’s memory are her mother, Priscilla who was also her best friend and confidant; brothers: Johnny and wife Yolanda, Bobby and wife Becky, Santos Jr. and wife Donna, Freddy Franco, and Ruben and wife Julie. She was the best aunt/Tia ever to Lisa, Chris, Gino, Sonya, Danielle, Robert Daniel, Santos Ill, Paul, Sarah, Chris, Freddy Jr., Jennifer, Fabian, Brianna, and Damian. Other survivors include numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins on both the Franco and Sigala sides of the family; and her longtime companion, Big Boy and recent addition Jade. They meant so much to Lynda, and she loved them so much. We would like to acknowledge all of Lynda’s friends, but it would be impossible as she touched lots of people with her loving and caring spirit. She was known to be Mom, Sister, Friend and especially Nina to so many. Lynda touched her friends in ways words could not describe. Her legacy of love and generosity will live on through all of them. One family was like a second family to Lynda, Stevie and Tootsie Gonzales and their family were great friends of hers. She absolutely loved and adored all the members of the Gonzales family. The other great love Lynda had was the Oakland Raiders, she was a part of the Raider Nation and quite the fanatic. She never missed a moment to proudly show off her Raider gear. If you would like to wear black and silver during Lynda’s service, we know she will be smiling ear to ear. Please accept our sincere apology for not being able to recognize everyone by name. Do know that Lynda and the Franco family love and appreciate every one of you. Lynda’s tribute was written in her honor by her family.
