Obituary for Manuel M Ybarra Manuel M. Ybarra, 73, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016, in Roswell, NM, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on September 23, 1943, to Francisco Murga and Catalina Ibarra in El Zape, Durango, Mexico. Manuel was a kind, loving and humble man. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was blessed to find the love of his life, Paula, and spent 45 glorious years together. He was a very hardworking man, who dedicated his life to providing for his family. As a young man, Manuel’s passion was playing baseball and watching the game became one of his favorite past times. He also enjoyed working around his house. He worked construction for most of his life. Manuel will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Manuel is preceded in death by his parents: Francisco Murga and Catalina Ibarra. Manuel leaves behind his loving wife, Paula Ybarra; sons: Juan Manuel Ibarra of Roswell, Rogelio Ybarra and his wife Krystle, of Roswell, Manuel Ybarra of El Zape, Durango, Mexico and Hugo Ybarra of Aurora, Illinois; daughters: Catalina Ybarra of Roswell and Rosa Ybarra of El Zape, Durango, Mexico; Grandchildren: Destinee Salayandia, Anissa Ybarra, Juan Manuel Ybarra Jr., Denise Ybarra, Noah Jones Witt all of Roswell, Lili Ybarra and Estrella Ybarra of El Zape, Durango, Mexico; Great-grandson: Isaac Montes of Roswell; brothers: Jesus Jose Ibarra and his wife Cuca of El Paso, Texas, Rosalio Ibarra and his wife Hortencia of El Paso, Texas, Jose Ramon Ybarra of El Zape, Durango, Mexico, and Juan Ibarra and his wife Gloria of Menifee, CA., sisters: Guadalupe Ibarra of Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico and Rosaura Ibarra of El Paso, Texas. Pallbearers will be Natividad Hernandez, Joel Ibarra, Jose Madrid, Martin Aragon, Manuel Aragon and Rogelio Silva. Honorary Pallbearers are Rogelio Ybarra, Juan Ibarra and Juanito Ybarra. A viewing will be Monday, October 3, 2016, from 12:00-7:00 PM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home, followed by a Rosary, which will be recited at 7:00 PM at Anderson Bethany Funeral Chapel. Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Catholic Church. Burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.
