Marcos Manuel Morones Sr.

Marcos Manuel Morones, Sr, 75, passed away February 13, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 7, 1940 in Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico to Candelario and Manuela Lopez Morones. On December 27, 1963, Marcos married Juanita Marie Rivera and had 52 happy years together. Marcos attended school in Mexico. He retired after 28 years as a production manager with Pepsi Co. Marcos also retired from ENMU-R where he worked as a custodian for 22 years. Favorite past-times included dancing, singing, and BBQ-ing with family and friends. Mechanic work and yard work were chores Marcos enjoyed doing. His yard was very pretty and complement to his neighborhood. Most of all, Marcos loved to spend time with his family. They were his #1 priority. Preceding Marcos in death were both of his parents: Candelario Morones and Manuela Lopez; Rosa Mora, sister; Mario Morones, brother; Dolores Zamora, sister; Lucilla Salinas, sister; Roman Morones, brother; Raul Morones, brother and Fredrico Morones, brother. Survivors of Marcos are six children: Yolonda and Carlos Alvarado of Albuquerque; Marcos and Irene Morones of Midway; Ralph and Olga Morones of Roswell; Adriana and Adam Tavarez of Roswell; Adan and Rebecca Morones of Roswell and Crystal and Angel Delgado of Roswell. Also surviving are Rachel Dowdy, sister, of Roswell; Alejandrina Hermosillo of El Paso, Tx and Maria Rodriquez, sister, of Duncan OK. Grandchildren surviving are Vanessa Paiz, Jose Alvarado, Sarah Alvarado, Marc Morones, Diego Morones, Miguel Morones, Melissa Morones, Arianna Morones, Bianca Morones, MiKayla Delgado. Great-grand-children surviving are Caprice Paiz, Navaeh Paiz, Christopher Piaz, and Samara Alvarado. Viewing will be at 9:00 AM, Thursday, February 18, 2016, at the Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. Followed by services at 10:00 AM also at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home and Chapel. Honorary Pallbearers serving Marcos will be Marcos Morones, Ralph Morones, Adan Morones, Carlos Aldarado, Adam Tavarez, Angel Delgado and Joe (el Vecino) Tallabas.
