Melvin Anderson

Melvin Anderson, 81, went to be with the Lord on March 24, 2009. He was born in Pacheco, Chihuahua, Mexico on September 14, 1927. He moved his family to Dexter, NM in 1991. There will be no services held for Melvin as this was his last wish. Melvin is survived by his wife Estela Anderson, of the family home, two daughters; Charlene Anderson and her husband, Jim of Lovington, Lena Vizcaino and her husband, Reynaldo, of Guadalajara, MX, five sons; Bobby Anderson of Dexter, Roy Anderson and his wife, Leticia of Arizona, Jonie Anderson and his wife, Sandra of MX, Rene Anderson and his wife, Jayme, of Dexter, one brother; Joe Anderson and his wife, Nancy of Capitan, one sister; Verda Anderson of Utah, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly but had a very special place in his heart for his granddaughter Rubi Miramontes. Grandpa loved nature. He was an avid gardener and always dreamed of going back to the mountains where he grew up. He was very much loved by his family and will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Myrtle Anderson, one brother, four sisters and a son Raymond Anderson.
