Dominguez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on January 9, 2025. He was born on September 29, 1949, in Guerrero, Mexico, to Angel and Rosa Dominguez. Throughout his life, Miguel’s unwavering determination and genuine warmth touched countless people, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, humility, and unshakable family values. Miguel learned the spirit of adventure early on. As a young man in Guerrero, he was a fearless bull rider and thrived in the cowboy lifestyle. Determined to build a brighter future for his parents and loved ones, he journeyed to the United States—where, even without full command of the language, his friendly nature and desire to connect transcended cultural barriers. He made new friends from many countries, forging bonds that stood the test of time. Miguel’s marriage to Teresa Dominguez spanned 49 years, and together they built a family defined by love, faith, and devotion. He was a devoted father to Christian (Stephanie), Teresa Avitia, Wendy Otero (Rene), and Michael, and a proud grandfather of eight grandsons and two granddaughters, all of whom cherished his playful spirit. Whether sneaking them treats or sharing a laugh over a family meal, Miguel poured his boundless affection into every moment he spent with them. Over the years, Miguel worked tirelessly—first as a material handler and delivery driver, then as a dairyman and farmer. Even after his official retirement at the age of 62, he continued working until 65, always eager to support friends and neighbors who relied on him. Miguel found joy in raising farm animals, immersing himself in the simple pleasures of ranch and farm life, and teaching his children about humility and the rewards of honest labor. He loved soccer, bull riding, Mexican music, and everything that reminded him of his roots in Mexico. Despite the pain of losing his siblings—Eudosio, Eudulia, and Gustino—as well as his parents, Angel and Rosa, Miguel continued to be a pillar of strength for his family. He is survived by his wife Teresa, their children, his ten grandchildren, and his older brother Juan. He will be forever remembered for his open heart, his larger-than-life generosity, and the happiness he found in welcoming new faces—no matter the language or distance between them. Though gone in body, Miguel’s spirit lives on in every act of kindness he inspired, in the friendships he forged, and in the love he instilled in his family. His memory will be carried forward by all who knew him, and his life of devotion and courage will remain an everlasting source of pride and inspiration. Viewing Service A viewing service will be held on Friday January 17, 2025, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home, located at 2609 S. Main Street, Roswell, New Mexico. A lo largo de su vida, Miguel fue muy trabajador y amable. Siempre mostró respeto y amor por su familia. Desde niño, Miguel fue valiente y aventurero. En Guerrero, fue un jinete de toros y disfrutó la vida de rancho. Cuando creció, viajó a Estados Unidos para dar un mejor futuro a sus padres y seres queridos. Aunque no hablaba bien el inglés, su personalidad amigable le permitió hacer amigos de muchos países. Miguel estuvo casado con Teresa Domínguez por 49 años. Juntos formaron una familia basada en el amor y la fe. Tuvieron cuatro hijos: Christian (Stephanie), Teresa Avitia, Wendy Otero (René) y Michael. Miguel también fue abuelo de ocho nietos y dos nietas. Les encantaba pasar tiempo con él, porque siempre encontraba la forma de hacerlos reír y sentirse queridos. En su vida laboral, primero trabajó moviendo materiales y haciendo entregas, luego fue lechero y granjero. Se jubiló a los 62 años, pero siguió trabajando hasta los 65 para ayudar a sus amigos y vecinos. Le gustaba criar animales y trabajar en el rancho, enseñando a sus hijos la importancia de la humildad y el esfuerzo. A Miguel le apasionaba el fútbol, la monta de toros, la música mexicana y todo lo que le recordaba su tierra. A pesar de perder a sus hermanos, Eudosio, Eudulia y Gustino, y a sus padres, Ángel y Rosa, él se mantuvo fuerte para su familia. Le sobreviven su esposa Teresa, sus hijos, sus diez nietos y su hermano mayor, Juan. Miguel será recordado por su gran corazón, su generosidad y su alegría al conocer gente nueva, sin importar el idioma o la distancia. Aunque ya no esté con nosotros, su espíritu vive en cada acto de bondad que compartió, en las amistades que hizo y en el amor que dio a su familia. Su recuerdo seguirá siendo una fuente de orgullo e inspiración para todos. Servicio de Velación Se llevará a cabo un servicio de velación el Viernes 17 de Enero de 2025 en Anderson Bethany Funeral Home, ubicada en 2609 S. Main Street, Roswell, Nuevo México. Familiares y amigos podrán presentar sus respetos de 12:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m.
