Nathanael Turpen

Celebration of life services for Nathanael Dean Turpen will be held at 12 pm, Saturday, May 9, 2009 at First Baptist Church in Dexter, with Pastor Kirby Kennedy officiating. Nathan passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Nathan was born August 17, 1985 to Troy Dean Turpen and Darlene Kay Dees Turpen in Artesia, NM. Nathan was the most wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and nephew, we could have asked for. He touched everyone’s life that he came in contact with. He enjoyed playing football and video games. I truly believe he was my angel, Nathanael was a gift from God, and the light of our lives. Nathan loved his family, and life and didn’t waste a minute of it. He was a 2004 graduate of Hagerman High School, where he excelled in sports and was an active member of FFA. He will be missed by anyone who ever had contact with such a wonderful young man. Nathan came into our lives in 2008 marrying Courtney and becoming a father to Jayden and Xavyer. He was a very loving son-in-law. When Nathan and Courtney had Aleya, she was the light of his eyes. Nathan we love and miss you dearly. Nathan is survived by his wife Courtney, two sons; Jayden and Xavyer and one daughter; Aleya all of Roswell, his parents; Troy and Darlene Turpen, of Dexter, one sister, Jodi Turpen and her children Rebecca and Troy all of Dexter, two brothers; Jeff Turpen and his wife Stacie and their children, Kevin and his two daughters, Laurel May Rose and Jadea Renae Rose, Cody and Krystan of Dexter; Bryan and Beverly Dees of Datil, NM, his mother-in-law Rhonda Reed, his sisters-in-law; Taryn Nunn and Kimberly Reed and her son Mathew Reed all of Wisconsin, his father-in-law Randle Reed and his wife Crystal, his sister-in-law; LacyAnne Barrows all of Roswell, his grandparents; Jim and Eva Reed of Odessa, TX. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. Nathan was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents and one nephew.
