Obituary for Ninfa T. Crist Another angel has been called home to heaven, Ninfa T. Crist, 73, of Roswell answered the call at her home on the 19th of September 2007. Ninfa was born on November 15, 1933 in Levelland, Texas to Rudolph U. and Antonio Trujillo. A graduate of Roswell High School, and private secretary for Southwest Petroleum, Ninfa touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with. Her special gifts included painting beautiful ceramics, her art, quilts, line dancing and gardening. Ninfa enjoyed all the friends she met at the Joy Center, calling the numbers for bingo, helping with crafts, as well as decorating the center for special holidays. Ninfa’s love of life, her laughter, and her wonderful sense of humor brought happiness to everyone she met. She loved everyone and will be sadly missed, loved and remembered by all who live on in the world that she has just departed. Ninfa is survived by her loving husband, Alexander Crist of the family home; children, oldest son, Peter Crist, daughter, La Andria Chomas of Pittsburgh, PA, son, Daniel Crist, son, Alexander Crist and his wife, Mary, daughter, Pauline Eash and her husband, Samuel; one brother, Adolph Trujillo and his wife, Elvia; four sisters, Elsie Chaves and her husband, George of Albuquerque, NM, Tillie Hidalgo, Dollie Sanchez and her husband, Condelario, and Rosie Valverde; cousins, Betty Sedillo, Paul Trujillo and his wife, Donna; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Ninfa was preceded in death by parents, Rudolph U. Trujillo and Antonia Jimenez Trujillo, brother, Richard Trujillo, a sister, Gloria Quintero, two brothers-in-law, Raymond Hidalgo and Chris Valverde, son-in-law, Robert F. Chomas, and a cousin-in-law, Frank Sedillo. The family would like to offer their appreciation to everyone for their concern, prayers, calls, and emotional support during the family’s time of need.
