Patricia Ann Davenport

It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann (Patsy) Davenport, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and the heart of our family. She left this world peacefully on November 30th, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on June 24,1943 in Portales, New Mexico. Patricia lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family. She believed that family was life’s greatest blessing, and she poured her love into every moment she shared with her children and grandchildren. Her home was a place of warmth—filled with home-cooked meals, gentle guidance, and the sound of her joyful laughter. Patricia was the kind of woman who made everyone feel welcome. She never hesitated to offer a listening ear, a comforting hug, or wise words exactly when they were needed. Her strength carried her family through difficult times, and her compassion lifted the spirits of all who knew her. As a grandmother, she was a constant source of delight—always ready with a story, a smile, or a soft hand to hold. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she celebrated each of their accomplishments as though they were her own. As a mother, she was a pillar of love and encouragement, teaching her children the importance of kindness, hard work, and faith. Patricia deeply loved and cherished her lifelong friend Kathy Allenberg, with whom she shared a precious bond that spanned decades of memories, laughter, support, and unwavering loyalty. She also treasured the numerous other friends who enriched her life over the years—friends she considered family, whose love and presence brought her comfort and joy. Patricia cherished her sisterhood in her sorority Beta Sigma Phi, Chapter Xi Kappa. The love, happiness, and joy she found through her sorority sisters were a constant source of warmth and support in her life. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved kitty cats, who brought her daily joy and companionship. Patricia cared for them tenderly, and they were truly part of her family. She is survived by her daughter Terresa Hale (with whom she shared a deeply special and remarkable bond) and husband Tim Hale of Roswell NM, grandson Cody James McCrary of Roswell NM, granddaughter Heather Aragon and husband Thomas Aragon of Roswell NM, granddaughter Kambrea Thomas and husband Jerad Thomas of Amarillo TX. great granddaughter Abbigaylle McCrary of Roswell NM, great granddaughter Isabelle McCrary of Roswell NM, great granddaughter Brianna Barbour of Roswell NM, great grandson Damien Barbour of Roswell NM, great granddaughter Nova Thomas of Amarillo TX, great grandson Aceyn Thomas of Amarillo TX and a bonus great granddaughter Danielle Wirt of Roswell NM, step-daughter Debbie Davenport Wier of Austin TX, step-daughter Nancy Birkhimer(John) of New Braunfels TX, step-son Clay Davenport(Rendy) of Portland TX and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will forever carry her legacy in their hearts! She is preceded in death by her husband Walt Davenport, father Ed House, mother Maxine Young, grandmother Iva Owens, daughter Dianna Novak, daughter Pamela McCrary, daughter Michelle Ward and grandson Skylar Ward. Though we will miss her dearly, we take comfort in knowing that her love lives on through the many lives she touched. Her memory will forever be a guiding light, reminding us to love deeply, cherish one another, and walk with God, just as she did. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 12th, 2025, 11:00 am at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the beautiful life she lived.
