Steven Don Reddoch

STEVEN DON REDDOCH--Steven Don Reddoch, 64, of Roswell, NM, passed away in his home on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. In honor of Don’s last request, he will not have a service. He asked instead, for those who knew him, not to mourn, but to celebrate his life with a toast and reflection on your memories with him. Please take a moment and share a fond memory or kind expression of sympathy for Don’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. On Nov. 5, 1954, Don was born in Roswell to Willie and Marie Reddoch. They preceded him in death, as well as his brother, Doug Reddoch. Don is survived by his three siblings: Gordon Reddoch and wife Jeanne of Wichita, Kansas, Dave Reddoch and wife Theresa of Roswell, NM, and Lisa Miller and husband John of Cloudcroft, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. Over the years, Don had many jobs. Some of which included, working for his dad at Reddoch Electric, and what he is most known for, his lawn care business. You never saw him without his companion and beloved dog, Storm. Don took great pride in his work, was hard-working, and as tough as they come. As a devoted friend, Don also leaves behind his two life and best friends, Cecil and Lauri. “The sincere friends of this world are as ship lights in the stormiest of nights.”-Giottodi Bondone. They were this friend to Don throughout his life and until his passing, as he was, in return, this cherished friend to them. He is described by those who love him as “an angel on Earth” whose heart and love changed people’s life paths for the better by having him as a part of their life. Don looked forward to his daily calls from his siblings, the visits from his friends and to watching the Nascar races. He bragged on his family, close friends, and to all who would listen. Don was proud and appreciative of all he had. He never knew a stranger, and always had a story to tell. Don would give his last dollar on his worst day to ANYONE, and you’d never know either was the case. He was cherished for the man he was by those who knew and loved him. Don’s stories, his laugh, and friendship will be missed and forever cherished. Don’s tribute was beautifully written in his honor by his loving friend, Chrishawn Peterson.
