TJ Jones was found deceased on March 4th, 2026, in Roswell NM. You may take a moment to share a fond memory with TJ’s family at www.andersonbethany.com On October 29,1999, TJ was born to Jennifer and Jamie Jones as Todd Eliott Able Jones. He attended grade school and Junior High in Carlsbad NM and Goddard High School in Roswell NM, where he managed to make it through all of High School without ever completing an assignment, yet passing every single test with high scores. He was especially fascinated with History, which was his favorite subject. Unfortunately, it was insufficient for graduation, so he dropped out senior year and completed his GED a couple weeks later, also without studying. He was incredibly smart and quick witted. TJ loved fiercely and was fiercely loyal to his family and friends. He was a kind soul who was protective of children and defender of anyone being bullied. He is remembered as being a dependable and hard worker growing up and always could be relied on to help when needed, especially on his grandparents’ ranch. He enjoyed many things: cooking, welding, drawing and tattooing among other things and was always talented at everything he tried. As an adult, he preferred a nomadic lifestyle and loved being in nature where he felt grounded, free and closer to Jesus. He was deeply spiritual and always kept a bible with him and read it daily, making notes and marking passages that were important to him. Particularly when he felt troubled. He would preach to anyone who would listen and often contemplated going to seminary school. TJ leaves behind a son, Gabriel Jones; his parents Jennifer and Jamie Jones; 5 Brothers: Ty and Tre Able, Johnwesley and Jeremie Jones and Adam LaVance; Grandparents Wesley and Ina Able of Carlsbad NM, Gloria Tiglas of Manistique Michigan, Edward Jones of Farmington NM; Uncle Jason Able of Carlsbad NM and Aunt Misty Jones of Manistique Michigan. Nephews Ricky and Samuel Able, a Neice Cadence LaVance and a large extended family and close circle of friends who will all miss him. He was particularly close with his Grandfather Wes (“PoPo”), his “Mamma Bear” and a few close friends but loved everybody deeply.
