Toni Francis Ross

Toni Francis Ross was called home June 10, 2013 to her Lord Savior Jesus Christ so she may have a glorious reunion with Him and her brother Carl Raymond Aubrey. Toni Aubrey was born on August 24, 1972 in Warren, Michigan to Richard Aubrey and Alma Rose Cole. She is survived by her brother Richard Aubrey, sisters Susan Aubrey of Columbus, MI, Lorene Ross of Lahaina, HI, and June Frosch of Roswell. Toni married Richard Ross on May 5, 1994 and is survived by four children: Mitchell Stuyvesent Hathaway, of Raleigh, NC, Aaron Daniel Ross, Kathryn Marie Ross, and Katelyn Ann Ross all of Roswell. She graduated from Goddard High School and then attended ENMU-R and graduated with a nursing degree as President of the Student Nurses’ Association. Nursing was her calling and became her passion until the day of her passing. Her brilliance, big heart, and love of babies allowed her to be a servant to many new mothers with healthy babies or providing care for critically ill newborns as a Nursery and L&D nurse. Her skills and compassion had such an impact on parents that she was often stopped away from work and thanked for the care she provided for them and their babies in their time of need. There is no greater honor for a nursery nurse than to be told “you can take care of newborn any day of the week.” This great privilege was bestowed upon Toni Bologna for the past 13 years. Her impact was also on fellow nurses, many of whom thanked her for guiding them in helping shape their career. Toni’s fun-loving spirit of adventure always directed her to “leap before looking!” The trait she was always glad to share with others that would “test the waters before leaping.” Her vivacious spirit led others to say “she’s so crazy.” Having a sense of humor that was second to none and there wasn’t a dare she wouldn’t take. Her unique ability of making new friends within minutes is what made her Toni Bologna. Her big smile, beautiful eyes and larger than life personality would light up a room and made her a magnet for all; especially children who would love to have her play and sing songs to them. Toni enjoyed scuba diving, motorcycling, scrapbooking and going to hockey games “go Red Wings.” “My Beloved” The impact you’ve had on my life is immeasurable All my 1sts have been with you I first fell in love with you after your blue eyes and soft reassuring voice melted my heart on that cold November night I became a man as I held our children I see your smile in them: that huge grin that will brighten a room What am I to do the next time they belly laugh and you’re not here to laugh with them You strengthened me, softened my heart, and encouraged me to play with reckless abandon and “leap without looking” I will miss you for always and forever R.R. Toni Bologna’s family wishes to thank all the staff of Lovelace Regional Hospital, especially Teresa Mondy, Grandma Jane, Cathy Cooper, Lori Spicer, Anissa Stark, Dr. Eric Peterson, Dr. Steven North, Dr Karen Carson, Kim Hanson, and all others that may have touched her heart. We especially give a big shout out to her friend Stacy Green. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Grace Community Church located at 935 W. Mescalero Rd. on Sunday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. Potluck dinner will begin immediately following service.
