Toribio Banuelas

Toribio Banuelas, was born to Toribio Banuelas and Petra Martinez on April 1, 1962, in Camargo, Chihuahua. Toribio married the love of his life, Guadalupe Banuelas, on February 18, 1987, in Los Angeles, California. Toribio is survived by his 5 children, and their spouses whom he loved deeply: Gabriela Baca (Dante Baca), Yvette Kirby (Terry Kirby), Alonso Banuelas (Leslie Romero), David Banuelas (Zuleyka Banuelas), and Armando Banuelas. Grandchildren: Jazlynn Ruiz, Robert Gallegos, David Jayden Banuelas, Amari Gallegos, Natalea Banuelas, Isaac Baca, Nathan Banuelas, Davian Gallegos, Aubryana Banuelas, Gabriela Banuelas, Royce Banuelas, Livvy Banuelas, Efren Maldonado, Idaly Maldonado and Ivan Maldonado, and one great-grandchild, Santi Banuelas. He is survived by his siblings, Gustavo Banuelas, Armando Banuelas, David Banuelas, Nora Banuelas, Julio Banuelas, Carmela Banuelas, and preceded in death by Saul Banuelas. Toribio deeply loved two of his aunts, Juanita Garcia and Aurelia Martinez, he is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as his best friend Agustin Gonzalez. Toribio had faith that Jehovah’s promises would come true. He retired from Leprino after twenty plus years. He was funny, enjoyed making people laugh, hardworking in everything he did, friendly, a great father and grandfather, strong, loved to dress up and wear his baseball hats, enjoyed eating all the delicious food that his wife prepared for him, loved the ocean and going to the movies. His pride and joy were his children. He and his wife were inseparable, always showing love to one another, he had deep love and respect for his siblings and aunts/uncles. He got along with everyone he met. His kindness and humor will be deeply missed along with his positive attitude. Our father was a man of strength, kindness, and love. He guided us with wisdom and always put his family first. He was not only our parent but also our teacher, protector, and friend, his humor, his lessons, his laughter, patience, and caring heart that touched everyone who knew him, and love will remain in our hearts forever. While we miss him deeply, we are thankful for the wonderful memories and the values he instilled in us. His legacy will live in our thoughts. Our father meant the world to us. Special thanks to all his family and friends, Dr. Khorsand and staff, and all who crossed paths and showed him love and respect.
