Obituary for Yvonne Rickard Funeral services for Yvonne Rickard, 52, of Roswell will be held at 11 am Monday, October 1, 2007, at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery. Visitation for Yvonne will be from 8 am-7 pm Saturday, 12-7 pm Sunday, and Monday from 8 am to service time. Yvonne passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Yvonne was born on January 15, 1955 to Mau Ly and Hieu Ngo Ly in Saigon, Vietnam. She and her family moved to Roswell thirty-seven years ago from Saigon. Yvonne and Robert Rickard were married on August 23, 1999 here in Roswell; Robert survives Yvonne at the family home. She worked as an assembler at Nova Bus until its closing. Yvonne loved to play bingo, play with her dogs, and spend time with her family. Yvonne was not just a wife to Robert, but they were best friends. She was loved greatly by her family and all those who knew her. Her family and friends have suffered a great loss; nobody will ever be able to replace her in their lives. In addition to her husband, Robert, Yvonne, is survived by her parents, Mau T and Hieu Ly; her brothers and sisters and their families, sister, Mui Wilson, and her children, Dan and Melissa Smith and their children, Bryson, Ashton, and Dacy, and daughter, Landa Smith and her child; brother, Sang and his wife, Mary, and their children, Kim and Mynor Vasquez and children, Emily and Alyssa, son, Julio Ly and his child, Alex, and son, Shawn and daughter, Thuy Ly; sister, Muoi Shaner and her husband, Stan; and their children, Lea and his wife, Claudia, Susan, and Sandy; brother, Sat Ly, and his children, Jessica, Brian, Adam, and Samonica, all of Roswell; sister, Ha Ly and her husband, Thu Ha, and their children, Tony, Thanh, Tommy, Tonya, and Timmy, of California; sister, My Nguyen and her husband, Phu Le, and their children, Yen Le, Tien Le, and Ty-Ty Nguyen, of Alabama; brother, Xung and his wife, Chi Ly, and their children, Khang, Kiet and Vivian, of Alabama; sister, Hong Ly and her husband, Cuong Nguyen, and their children, Sebastian Ly, TuNhi Tran, and Ethan Nguyen, of Kentucky; sister, Leona Ly and her children, Aaron Huynh, Andrew Huynh, and KhanNhi Ly, of Alabama; and sister, Chi Ly and her husband, Long Le, and their children, Amber Le and Evan Le; and a host of friends. Yvonne was preceded in death by a sister, Nga Ly. Pallbearers will be Sang Ly, Stan Shaner, Cuong Nguyen, Long Le, Xung Ly, Dan Smith, Gabriel Vigil, and Mynor Vasquez.
