Adolfo “Adolf” Bara Maldonado,85, passed away on Sunday, April 24th in Roswell NM. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Adolf’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. There will be a viewing at Anderson & Bethany Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 1- 6 pm followed by a rosary at 6 pm. The service will be at St Thomas Aquinas in Lovington, NM at 10 am on April 29, 2022, followed by the burial in Lovington Cemetery. On November 3, 1937, Adolf was born to Andrea Bara & Modesto Maldonado in Eden TX. Being 1 of 16 siblings, 10 brothers 6 sisters. At the age of five, he was already following in his father’s footsteps building fences and working on the family ranch. When Adolf was young, he married the woman he’d be with forever, Hermenia (Erma) Maldonado, they wed on February 14, 1957, in Lovington NM. Adolf was of the catholic faith. He and Erma had their children while in Lovington NM. After planning on moving to Hobbs they made a pass-through Ruidoso and decided that would be home. Adolf had a long career in the tire business, then joined the Ruidoso Septic family for 20-plus years. He worked hard his whole life and enjoyed meeting new people every day. Adolf loved having his family around, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing baseball, loved dancing, racecars, bull riding, anything ranch/farm related. Those left to eternally cherish Adolfo’s memory are his wife, Erma Maldonado; children: Michael and wife Mary Maldonado, Adrian Maldonado; brother, Raymond Maldonado; grandchildren: Calli Peso-Maldonado, Jared Sirianapolis, Ara Maldonado, Kira Maldonado, and Trinity Crouchman; great-grandchild, Clyde Peso. Adolf is preceded in death by his 15 brothers and sisters, and parents. Blessed to be chosen as honorary pallbearers are Tony Guardiola, Ronald ( Casper ) Summerow, Rigo Esparza, and numerous other friends and family. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Raymond (baby ray) Maldonado, Anthony Maldonado, Billy Mahan, Cash Peso, Patrick Sanchez, Phillipe ( Boy ) Sosa, David Solis, and Steven Aguerro. The family of Adolf Maldonado wishes to extend sincere thanks to, neighbors, friends, family, doctors that took care of Adolf, Roswell Dialysis, the Roswell Joy Center, and the Ruidoso Septic family. Adolf’s tribute was lovingly written by his family.
