Dolores (Deo) Jean Snipes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dolores (Deo) Jean Snipes, passed away on October 18th, 2021 in Lubbock Texas. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 5th,2021 at 2pm at Grace Community Church. Deo was born in Roswell, New Mexico to Bill and Pat Snipes on October 11th, 1976. She graduated from Goddard High School in 1995. She was a pet sitter for 22 years for Deo’s Pet sitting. Her love for animals drove her to start her own pet sitting business. If your fur babies were ever cared for by Deo they were in the perfect hands. She worked at several local veterinarian’s offices before pursuing her own business. Growing up Deo loved playing sports. Her favorite was softball and she was amazing at it. She loved her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them. It made her happy to be with them and watch them grow. She met the love of her life when they were younger, but they didn’t know they were made for each other until later in life. Chad was the perfect person for Deo and she loved him very much. They enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors together. Deo is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Al and Dolores Snipes and maternal grandparent Imogene Mealand. Deo is survived by her boyfriend, Chad Sallee, her children, Tristen Snipes, LeeAnn Sisk and Peytyn Snipes-Crawley, two beautiful grandchildren, Hea’Leigh Marker and Remingtyn Sisk, her parents, Bill and Pat Snipes, brothers, Bill Snipes Jr and wife Christy, and Dale Snipes and wife Kim, her sister, Lynn Daleske and husband Rob, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Caleb Sallee as well as the many doctors and nurses at Covenant hospital in Lubbock, Texas.
