Domingo Pisana 11/5/1969 – 8/8/2021 Domingo Pisana, 51, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 8, 2021. He was born on November 5, 1969, to Domingo and Mary Pisana, in Roswell, NM. Please take a moment and share a fond memory or kind expression of sympathy for Domingo’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. A Rosary will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 9:30 AM at St. Catherine’s Church in Hagerman, New Mexico, followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM. Domingo was a lifelong resident of the Roswell and Lake Arthur area. He was employed at Holsum Bakery as a Shipping & Receiving clerk for twelve years. Domingo then went on to work in the Custodial Arts industry for the New Mexico Military Institute, Tobosa Developmental Services and Lake Arthur Schools. Domingo was formerly a member of the Knights of Columbus and was currently a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Lake Arthur. One of Domingo’s favorite pastimes was watching his favorite sports teams play. He was a diehard Chicago Bears fan and loved to watch them annihilate the other teams on the field! Watching the LA Lakers on the court and the Dodgers also brought him great joy, being an avid sports fan as he was. Mingo never met a stranger. Everyone he met was just a friend he hadn’t spoken to yet. He was very fond of spending time with his family and making everyone laugh. Especially his granddaughter, Neveah and was looking forward to his new granddaughter, Yanelli Pisana, who brought even greater joy to bless his family. Domingo was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His absence will leave a great void in the hearts of those who loved him. Domingo’s family will miss him dearly. Those left to revere the great memory of Domingo are his loving wife, Maricelda Porras Pisana; sons: Domingo Jose Pisana and wife, Crystal; Dominic Xavier Pisana and wife Cristina; granddaughters: Neveah Nicole Pisana and Yanelli Nyla Pisana (due 8/20/21); Godchildren: Domingo Ponce (Pappas); Nestor Rubio, Neveah Ponce and Abraham Clements; mother, Mary Pisana; nieces: Leticia McDonald (Raymundo), Alexis Deleon (Alex), Geneva Clements (David), Kayleni Montes, Alessandra Porras, Daniella Porras, Mia Valdez, Meili Valdez and Tatiana Schlange; nephews: Anthony Pisana, David Jonathan Avina, Bibi Ray Ponce (Crystal), Domingo Ponce (Meagan), Jose Porras, Kai Porras, Talyn Porras; Sisters: Molly Montes (Jessie), Adelaida Ponce (Bibian); sisters-in-law: Lucy Molina (Jesus), Elizabeth Valdez (Jose); brothers-in-law: Amador Porras (Carolyn), Miguel Porras, Jose Cruz Porras (Jeanett); maternal uncle, Jose Rivera; maternal aunt, Delia Palomino (Fred); paternal aunts: Juanita Acosta, Cecelia Garcia, and Cristina Guerrol (Hector); paternal uncle, Manuel Pisana (Mary); close family friend, Elia “Apple” Garza Family and numerous great nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly; and his beloved best friend, “Chanel”.
