Dominic Nathan Chavez, 25, of Roswell, New Mexico, made his journey home on Saturday, August 14, 2021. On September 17, 1995, Dominic was born in Phoenix, Arizona, to Marisela Perales and Ricardo Chavez. He grew up in Roswell, New Mexico. Dominic worked as an HVAC Tech Assistant for Delton’s Heating and Air Conditioning. Dominic loved spending time with his family, loved ones, and friends. He enjoyed listening to music and singing along. Dominic had a special bond with his brothers, cousins, loved ones, and his friends. He always had a smile on his face and always made everyone laugh. Dominic will be missed so much. We love and miss you, Bomb! Dominic is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jesus Chavez Zavala; and his second Godparents: Terry and Dave Gonzales. Those left to cherish Dominic’s memory are his two brothers: Xavier Valenzuela and Ricardo Jr. Chavez; mother, Marisela Perales and fiancé Cesar Acosta; father, Ricardo Chavez and partner Heather Rue; stepbrother, Anthony Acosta; stepsister, Aviana Acosta; grandparents: Vicky Espinoza and Octavio Zuniga, Jesus and Maria Perales; Godparents: Samuel and Manuela Olivares; aunts and uncles: Maria (Auntie) Perales, Angelica (Beca) Chavez, Cecilia Chavez and partner David, Jesus and Leeanna Perales, Rigo and Monica Chavez, Jesus and Karla Chavez, Hilda Perales and Joe Gomez; cousins: Estela, Serenity, Adrian, Markie, Eric, Gianissa, Esai, Jasmine, Kay’liah, Eljiah, Gracie, Adriana, Camila, Nano, Yarima, Yalitiza, Joe, Daniel, Anica, and Alissa; and numerous second cousins. There will be a viewing from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, followed by a rosary at 6:00 PM on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. At 10:00 AM on Friday, August 20, 2021, funeral services will be held at Church on the Move. Pastor Sergio Tirado will conduct the funeral service. Burial will be held at South Park Cemetery to follow services. Those blessed to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are: Xavier Valenzuela, and Ricardo Junior Chavez. Those honored to serve as Pallbearers are: Eric Espinoza, Hector Olivares, Samuel Olivares, Daniel Dillard, Anthony Acosta, Oakley Smith, Andres (Bear) Olivas, and Isai Campos. The family of Dominic Nathan Chavez would like to thank those who have donated and provided meals, gofundme donations, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
