Dora A. Harrison, 68, passed away on April 25, 2022, in Roswell, NM. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Dora’s family at www.andersonbethany.com. Visitation will be at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home, on Monday, May 2, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Anderson-Bethany Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm, with Joe Rodriguez officiating. Services will be followed with cremation. On April 23, 1954, Dora was born to Maria and Hermeregildo Rodriguez in Fort Stockton, Texas, and moved to Roswell when she was 3 years old. She attended and graduated from Roswell High School, then married Carl Harrison on December 23, 1978, at St. John’s Catholic Church. Prior to retirement, Dora worked as a seamstress at Amirea Pride now Aramark for 18 years. She enjoyed bingo, going out for breakfast on Saturdays, making bracelets and other jewelry, watching her favorite football team the Denver Broncos, yellow, and butterflies. She loved her grandchildren very much, and the family dogs had her heart. Dora was a wonderful, happy, and loveable person who will be missed dearly by family and friends. Dora is survived by her husband Carl A. Harrison; children: Michael Harrison and Andrew Harrison; grandchildren: Angela Harrison, Chris Perez, X’andre Perez, Alexandria Perez, and Alexiz Perez; siblings: Ben and Erica Rodriguez, Johnny and Hilda Rodriguez, Joe and Betty Rodriguez, Chris and Barbara Rodriguez, Abel and Lucy Rodriguez, Susie and Ruben Anaya, Lupe and Samuel Castaneda. her beloved dogs: Moma, Ginger, and Fatty. Dora is preceded in death by her parents: Hermeregildo and Maria Jesus (Armendariz) Rodriguez; and brother George Rodriguez. Dora’s tribute was lovingly written by her family.
