LEROY JARAMILLO ACOSTA 5/28/1982 – 4/29/2020 Our hearts have been broken with the recent loss of Leroy Acosta. SERVICES: There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at South Park Cemetery, on Thursday, May 7, 2020, 10:00 AM. Leroy was born on May 28, 1982, to Debbie Jaramillo and Arturo Acosta in Roswell, New Mexico. He grew up in Roswell, attended Roswell schools, and was always surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Leroy played baseball as a child and could light up a room with his smile. He had struggles along the way but had made life changes and became committed to his job and raising his children with his loving companion Danielle McClain in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Leroy enjoyed spending time hanging out with his family and friends until he passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. SURVIVORS: Loved ones Leroy left behind include his companion, Danielle McClain; children: Alexus, Analicia, Anissa, Reanna, Alizae, Amanda, Emilio, Zavien, Azariah, LeZaiah Acosta, and Brandolyn Lucero; one granddaughter, Jaidalynn; parents, Debbie Jaramillo and Arturo Acosta; brothers: Phillip Jaramillo and Arturo Morales; sisters: Stephanie and Amber Acosta; uncles and aunts: include Alfred Jaramillo, Ruben Jaramillo, Joanne Serna, Rudy Acosta, Alonzo Acosta, Norma Archuleta, Victorina Garcia, Velma Acosta, Lorene Montoya, Yolanda Fuentes, and Sylvia Eaker; special aunts and uncles: Adella Jaramillo, Angelita Jaramillo, Ynes Jaramillo, Margarita Jaramillo; nieces and nephews: Azmirayah and Zachariah Nevarez, Devinie Romero, Sariah Acosta, and Mathew Lujan, Jr. He will also be missed by his close friends: Michael Ortega, Frankie Garcia, Adrian Ibarra, Caesar Ibarra, Kevin Martinez, and Lil Rick Otero. PRECEDED: Leroy was preceded in death by Vanessa Espinoza, the mother of his children; maternal grandmother Demetria Jaramillo; paternal grandparents, Emilio and Esther Acosta; sister, Amanda Acosta; as well as his uncles: Phillip Jaramillo, Felipe Acosta, and Emilio Acosta, Jr. HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Chosen to serve as Honorary Pallbearers all his children and Caesar Ibarra, Michael Ortega. and Leann Gunnels.
