Sergio Nevarez, 37, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in Roswell, NM. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with the Nevarez family at www.andersonbethany.com. SERVICES: There will be a viewing for Sergio at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Monday, January 31, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM. A Mass Service will be held at the Ave Maria Center on February 1, 2022, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery. On June 17, 1984, Sergio was born to Jose and Yolanda Nevarez in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He attended and graduated from Dexter High School. Following graduation, Sergio earned his bachelor’s of Arts degree in History and minor in Special Education from Eastern New Mexico -Portales. He loved to teach everything he had learned. Sergio was a Dallas Cowboy football fan, he sure loved them “Cowboys.” He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was a member of the OMEGA DELTA PHI fraternity. Sergio enjoyed spending time outside, and he always looked forward to doing mechanical work or welding. He was an owner/operator of installing and replacing auto glass at Hoover Details, Mobile Wash, Autoglass and Tint. Sergio loved spending time with his children, they were his world. His favorite saying was, “Oh yeah for sure, dude.” Sergio holds a special place in everyone’s heart and will be missed by all his loved ones and friends. SURVIVORS: Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Sergio are his children: Adelina Faith Nevarez, Sebastian Jude Nevarez and Isaiah Justice Nevarez; parents: Jose and Yolanda Nevarez; grandparents: Luisa Nevarez and Eloisa Garcia; siblings: Evan Nevarez and Perla Sosa; brother-in-law, Gabriel R. Sosa; numerous aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews: Vasanti R. Sosa, Kaylonie M. Nevarez, Gabriel “Brother” Sosa and Ezekiel R. Sosa; numerous friendships; as well as his precious pet, Daisy. PRECEDED: Sergio is preceded in death by his grandparents: Jose C. Nevarez and Gonzalo Chavez; and best friends: Richard Ballesteros; cousins Oscar Estrada, and Erika Herrera. HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Blessed to be chosen as Honorary Pallbearers are Sebastian Nevarez, “Brother” Sosa, Isaiah Nevarez and Ezekiel R. Sosa. PALLBEARERS: “Love you brother. Together we stand, with you for ever.” - Selvin Chavez Efren Cortez, Forrest Moreno, Lenny Romero, Evan Nevarez, Erick Estrada, Gabriel Sosa and Daniel Chavez. “I’m beyond honored to walk with my guy for the last time, love you man,” - Biff Kellum A los que amo y a los que me aman Cuando me haya ido, libérame, déjame ir.
