A wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Veronica Ann Booth, 41, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in Liberal, Kansas. The Viewing for Veronica will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. On January 25, 1981, Veronica was born in Roswell, New Mexico, to Lyla Ramirez and Rafael Martinez. She graduated from University High School. Veronica was the beloved wife of Robert Booth, whom she married in Roswell, New Mexico. They had a beautiful family. Veronica was a member of Church on the Move. Veronica was very artistic and loved drawing, painting, coloring. She would play cards with her nephew Chris, play games with her nephew Urijah, and scroll through Facebook on her cell phone. Veronica liked to cook and spend time with her loved ones. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and friends. Those left to cherish memories of Veronica are her husband, Robert Booth; children: Robert, Brianna, and Elizabeth Booth; grandchild, Rhyder; parents: Rafael Martinez and Lyla Ramirez; grandmother, Anita Ramirez; siblings: Rafael (Jamie), Crystal (Gordon), Marissa (Carlos), Jesse, and Yvonne; aunts and uncles: Carlos, Fred, Della, Lydia, Gloria, Carol, Priscilla, and Armando; aunts and uncles: Sally Teel, Pennie Wilkins, Nancy, and Mary; nieces and nephews: Julian, Nadia, Chris, Jeremiah, Unique, Anthony, Urijah, Myah, and Railyn; best friend, Renae Simmons; close friends: Gloria, Patty, Jessica, Anna, Renae, Loribeth, Kayla, and Gynn; as well as her precious pets: Randy and Nugget. Veronica is preceded in death by her son; Jacob Ray Booth; grandparents: Cosme Ramirez, Adan Meraz, Anita Martinez Meraz, Bob and Renda Booth; great-grandparents: Felipe and Marianna Acosta, Anita Archuleta, Maria, and Sinforoso Ramirez; Godfather, Frank Ramirez; and her uncle, Larry. Blessed to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are Sam, Tino, Frank, Sergio, Amber, Erica, Diamond, Santana, Carlos, and Monique. Honored to serve as Pallbearers are Ashley, Ariana, Gabriel, and Joshua.
