Cecilia Chavarria

A rosary for Cecilia Perales Chavarria, 31, of Roswell will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 7:00pm at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Juan Antonio officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Cecilia went to meet our Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2009. Cecilia was born February 13, 1978 in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, to Guadalupe Perales. At the age of two the family moved to Roswell where she grew up. She married her husband Juan Chavarria on June 16, 1996, shortly after they were blessed with their fist son “Manny” Juan Manuel Chavarria III. The family moved to Fort Bragg, NC where they lived for 2 ½ years, there she finished high school. In 1998 they moved back to Roswell, where again they were blessed with their second child, Davian. In 2003 she got her Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, in 2007 she went to work at Jeff Diamond Law Firm as a paralegal. Cecilia was a very strong and out going person, she always knew how to make people smile and laugh and took great joy in doing that. She tried to make the world a better place for everyone, never thinking of herself. Her dream was to become a Supreme Court Lawyer. She is survived by her husband Juan of the family home, two sons; Manny and Davian Chavarria both of Roswell, her mother; Lupe Perales of Roswell, brother “s” Raul Perales and Jonathan Venturo of Roswell, two sisters; Elsie Perales Garcia and her husband Ferrel of Roswell and Velia Perales, nieces and nephews; Hector Israel and Ferrel Jr. Garcia of Roswell, Mireya and Nayeli Rivas of Oklahoma City, Roman, Luis, Alexis and soon to be born Sarali Cruz of Dallas, TX, Angel Chavarria, Adrian and Vanessa Bedolla of Roswell, her mother-in-law; Dolores Chavarria of Roswell, her father-in-law; Juan Chavarria Sr. of Oklahoma City, three sisters-in-law; Patti Rivas of Oklahoma City, Elisa and her husband Roman Cruz of Dallas TX, Claudia Chavarria and Jose Bedolla of Roswell, Tio Jesus and Maria Perales, Tia Petra and Jose Torres of Van Horn, TX, Tia Ramona and Yoli, Tio Lucio, Arnulfo, Miguel, Alex Perales of Roswell, Romaldo Perales of Colorado Springs, numerous cousins and friends. We would like to give thanks to everyone for their support and help a special thanks to her best friend Isabel Thurman and family. Cecilia is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, Lucio and Carmen Perales, Guadalupe Gutierrez Perales, one brother; Hector M. Perales, one sister; Lupita Perales, one niece; Isabel Cruz. Pallbearers will be Raul, Jesus D., Jesus M., Arnulfo, Lucio, Miguel and Alex Perales, Jose Bedolla.
