Cecilio Aguirre

A rosary will be recited for Cecilio H. Aguirre, 43, of Roswell at 7 pm, Monday, August 17, 2009 at St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated for Cecilio at 10 am, Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at St. Johns with Father Juan Montoya O.F.M. officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Cecilio passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 in Albuquerque, surrounded by the love of his family. After a struggle following complications after a brain tumor operation. Cecilio was born November 22, 1965 to Jesus Aguirre Gutierrez and Marcelina Hernandez Garcia in Rancho Aguaje Mpio. De Huejotitan, Chihuahua, Mexico. He later moved to Roswell where he met and married his wife Maria Celeste, she survives him at the family home. Cecilio owned and operated Cecilios Restaurant alongside his wife, for sixteen years. He was a very kind, caring and generous person. Cecilio enjoyed going for walks, cooking and dancing, but what he really loved, was spending time with his family and took great pride in his children. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his wife Maria, Cecilio is survived by one son; Cecil Aguirre of Roswell, one daughter; S’Lene P. Aguirre of Albuquerque, his parents; Marcelina Hernandez of Casas Grandes, Chihuahua and Jesus Aguirre of Artesia, four brothers; Marcel Aguirre of Florida, Manuel, Franciso, Eustacio Aguirre all of Artesia, four sisters; Rosario Aguirre de Molina, of Parral, Chihuahua, Virginia Aguirre de Molina, Irma Aguirre de Molina, both of Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Rosa Jacobsen of Farmington, numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Cecil, Marcel, Manuel and Hugo Aguirre, Rene Montes and Oscar Flores.
