David Bachicha

Obituary for David Bachicha David Bachicha, passed away on September 17, 2015. He was born on March 12, 1962, to Joe and Mary Bachicha, in Mountainair, NM. Along with serving in the Army Reserves, David worked at Levi Strauss & Co, from 1985-1997 and NAPA as a delivery driver. Some of his hobbies were working on cars and riding his bike. David loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a kind heart, never complained, was always as happy as he could be; David loved life. He will surely be missed by all who knew him. Preceding David in death are his mother, Mary Bachicha; grandparents: Carlota Bachicha and Luis Bachicha, Flora Chaves and Antonio Chaves, as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Those left to carry on his legacy are his sons: Rick Bachicha and Anthony “Bubba” Bachicha; father, Joe Bachicha; five grandchildren; sisters: Teresa Taylor and husband Steve, of Uniontown, KY; Christine Bamberg and husband Beau, and Geneva Brumlow, all of Roswell, NM; brother, Gilbert Bachicha and wife Carol, of Roswell, NM; ex-wife, Celeste Sosa, of Roswell, NM. Also surviving David are nephews: Anthony and Steven Taylor, niece, Sara Taylor, all of Uniontown, KY; niece, Deborah Cox and Joshua, of Carolina; nieces: Audrey Jimenez and husband Bert; Norah Bamberg, Katrina Bachicha and Aliah Bachicha, all of Roswell, NM; nephews: Billy Quiroz, Joseph Bachicha, Jerry Bachicha, and Michael Brumlow all of Roswell, NM. A rosary will be recited on Monday, September 21, 2015, 7:00 PM, at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. A funeral is scheduled on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, 10:00 AM, also at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home. Burial will follow at General McBride Veteran’s Cemetery. “I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake with which I’ll never part, God has you in His keeping, and I have you in my heart.” We would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at UNM Cancer Center, ER staff at ENMMC along with Dr. Wulf and Dr. Rizich, and Gentiva Hospice nurses Frances Olivas and Pauline Hickey, and the rest of the staff that assisted in the care of our beloved brother.
