Earl Bragg

A graveside service is scheduled for Earl Mack Bragg, 73, of Roswell at 2 pm Friday, March 8, 2013 at Angus Cemetery, Bonita Park, New Mexico. He passed away on March 5, 2013. Earl was born Jan. 17, 1940 to Everett Emezy Bragg and Jewel Agnes Bullard in Carrizozo, NM. Earl was raised in Carrizozo and lived 11 years in Roswell where he had family and friends. Earl joined the United States Air Force where he received secret clearance in 1958 and was discharged in 1964, he was one of the best cowboys ever to mount a horse. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, just enjoyed the great outdoors. He is survived by his wife Beverly Ann Fox of fifty four years of the family home; his children: son, Tom Alfred Bragg of Roswell, NM; son, Johnny Mack Bragg of Roswell, NM; daughter, Belinda Lynn Bragg of Goose creek, SC; grandson, Michael William Bragg and wife Heather of Roswell, NM; granddaughter, Beth Ann Hunt and husband Rue of Roswell, NM, granddaughter, Jennifer Lee Bragg of Norman, OK, granddaughter, Tina Marie Bragg of Roswell, NM, granddaughter, Ashley Anderson of Joplin, MO, grandson, Everett Emezy Bragg of Carlsbad, NM, grandson, Joshua Tye Bragg of Roswell, NM, grandson, Zachary Mack Bragg of Roswell, NM, sister, Mary Livesay and husband Albert of Odessa, TX, brother, Joseph Ferguson and wife Toni of Phoenix, AZ, brother, James Ferguson and wife Sharon of Safford, AZ, sister, Sharon White of Roswell, NM, sister, Sarah Russell of Oklahoma, OK, brother, Jack Ferguson and wife Julie of Roswell, NM, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his father, Everett Emezy Bragg, mother Jewel Agnes Ferguson, step father, John Edward Ferguson, brother, Johnny Mack Bragg, brother, George Bragg, sister Evelyn Jewel Garvey, and sister, Shirley Ann Cain. Pallbearers will be Rue Hunt, Michael Bragg, Randel Salley, Joshua Bragg, Chris Ferguson, Tom Bragg. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Runnels, Henry Vega, Jack Heffner. We would like to give special thanks to Beth Hunt, Heather Bragg, Tina Bragg for their love and care during these trying times, as well as Randel Salley. Services are under the direction of Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory.
